The only one who gets to decide your worth is you.💕

It doesn’t come from your bank account or number of friends you have.

It doesn’t come from what someone else says you are worth.

It’s called self worth for a reason - it comes from you. It comes from being yourself and being proud of who you are. It comes from being someone that you can count on and someone you love. The numbers will change with time, but what won’t change is who you are deep inside - beautiful, limitless, wonderful, creative, strong, capable - and that is where your worth comes from.

Did you know this raw caramel slice happens to be raw, vegan, gluten free & refined sugar free...it tastes delicious too.

Ingredients:

The Base
65g buckwheat
65g cashew nuts
45g desiccated coconut
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp warm water

The Caramel
130g medjool dates
130g macadamia nuts
1 tbsp coconut oil
8 tbsp warm water
1 tbsp tahini
2 tsp maca powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

The Chocolate
150g dark chocolate
Handful of cocoa nibs

Method:
1. Grind the buckwheat and cashew nuts to a flour and combine with the other base ingredients.

2. Line a baking tray and pour the base mixture into the tray. Press the base mixture firmly into the tray and leave in the fridge while you make the caramel.

3. For the caramel, combine all ingredients to a food processor or blender.

4. Once the caramel is smooth and creamy, spread on top of the base, spreading evenly.

5. Put the baking tray in the freezer to firm up (Approximately 2 hours).

6. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water. Once fully melted pour over the caramel. Once smooth add on the cocoa nibs (or any other toppings for that matter), leave to set in the fridge.

7. Once cooled and set use a sharp knife to cut into slices / squares.

These raw slices are perfect for snacking or to have with a hot drink if you prefer.

Hello you beautiful souls✨

Just a friendly reminder that each day is a new beginning, a chance for you to reset, refocus and realign. Take a deep breath, smile and start again. 🤍

Don’t worry about yesterday, later on today or tomorrow. Focus on the here and now and enjoy each moment.

Make the most of today and enjoy each moment, whether that was enjoying the smell and taste of your morning coffee, hearing the birds singing to each other, watching the sun rise in the sky. Savour every moment. 🙏🏼

D A L G O N A C O F F E E

So you might have heard of Dalgona Coffee. This our take on the South Korean coffee drink.

Believe it or not but to get the velvety texture it just requires 3 ingredients, all of which you probably already have in your cupboard.

What you’ll need:
⋆ Instant coffee
⋆ Water
⋆ Sugar

Somehow (not sure of the chemistry behind it), if you mix two tablespoons of each ingredient and then start whipping it, eventually the mixture turns into a thick meringue cream type mixture with soft peaks. Once whipped you can add to cold or hot milk for an iced coffee or latte-style drink. ☕️

E L L E & N A T A L I E ✨

If you didn’t know already we are . Sharing all the good things we love in life. Mainly food, fitness and yoga!

At the moment we live together, eat together, breathe together and basically do everything together. ...The “C” word has been creating a lot of uncertainty in the world and it has the potential to affect your wellbeing and health. Don’t let this time be an obstacle to you and your happiness. If you are struggling take a minute to breathe and focus. Maybe write down 5 words that you are grateful for today or maybe just think of one moment today that made you smile or laugh. These are the moments that should be cherished.

For us, this moment made us smile. We love yoga and it’s great that we can share a practice together. We are of very different abilities but everything is adaptable and scalable to suit you. At the end of the day yoga is personal, it’s about connecting with yourself and your soul, it’s not all about executing the poses perfectly and having the best balance. 🙏🏼

Being lockdown is meaning we are doing a lot of baking, cooking and eating! Not that we needed an excuse but still...we found these cookies on Pinterest and WOW we needed to share the recipe.

These cookies are super rich and decadent, you can not love them! Just to top it off they are plant based and gluten free too ✨

2 tbsp milled flaxseed
6 tbsp water
230ml tahini
120ml maple syrup
50g ground almonds
6 tbsp cacao powder
100g dark chocolate chips
Pinch or two of sea salt flakes

Step 1: pre heat the overnight to 160c (fan oven)

Step 2: mix together the milled flaxseed and water in a bowl and leave for 10 minutes

Step 3: In a bowl mix together the tahini, maple syrup and the mixture from step 2. Then add in the ground almonds, cacao and salt. Mix well until fully combined.

Step 4: Add in the chocolate chips and combine again.

Step 5: Using a dessert spoon , scoop the batter in a ball and place onto a baking sheet lined with grease proof paper.

Step 6: flatten out the batter so it creates round disks on the paper. Depending on how big your baking tray is you may need to have two batches to go in the oven.

Step 7: Bake for 15 minutes. When you remove from the oven they will still feel soft but leave them to cool and they will firm up.

Enjoy 🙏🏼
