Last week, PhysCap proudly held our 2026 AGM, where we unveiled an exciting new strategy designed to ensure our charity continues to grow, evolve, and thrive for many years to come.
Our vision is clearer than ever, and everyone involved is energised and focused on delivering our promise: “Big Help for Little People.”
In uncertain times, more families across Yorkshire are reaching out for support. We remain absolutely committed to being in a position to say yes—standing alongside those who need us most and making a real difference where it matters.
This year’s AGM also marked a proud change of the guard. After an incredible 16 years as Chairman, Daniel Gray is handing over the baton, having played a pivotal role in shaping PhysCap into the charity it is today.
We are hugely grateful for Daniel’s outstanding leadership and his remarkable 30-year commitment to the charity. We’re delighted that he will continue to play an active role on the committee moving forward.
We also want to recognise our outstanding committee—true unsung heroes whose hard work, compassion, and commitment make everything we do possible.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to welcome Simon Reynolds as our new Chairman. With over 30 years of dedication to PhysCap, Simon brings experience, energy, and fresh momentum. Alongside new members and new ideas, this next chapter puts PhysCap in a fantastic position to continue as one of Yorkshire’s leading volunteer-run charities.
To everyone who has supported us on this journey—thank you. Your generosity and belief in what we do has enabled us to raise millions of pounds and support thousands of families across the region.
And we’re only just getting started.
