🍹 5 Summer Mocktails for PMOS
Alcohol doesn't affect everybody in the same way.

Some women find it has very little impact. Others notice disrupted sleep, increased cravings, bloating, energy dips or feeling less resilient the following day.

Alcohol Awareness Week can be a useful opportunity to explore what works best for your own body.

That doesn't have to mean sitting in the corner with a glass of water.
I've put together five refreshing summer mocktail recipes that still feel a little bit special.

Inside the booklet you'll find:
🍓 Berry Sparkler
🍋 Citrus Cooler
🍍 Tropical Fizz
🥒 Cucumber & Mint Refresher
🍊 Blood Orange Spritz
Perfect for summer evenings, barbecues, garden parties and holidays.

This week marks an important milestone for everyone affected by PMOS (previously known as PCOS).

For the first time, NICE has published a draft clinical guideline for PMOS. If adopted after consultation, it will provide clearer, evidence-based guidance on how PMOS should be diagnosed, assessed and managed across the NHS.

For too many people, getting a diagnosis has taken years. Advice has often varied depending on where you live or which healthcare professional you see. Greater consistency has the potential to improve care for millions.

It's important to remember that this is still a draft. The consultation is open until 11 August, which means healthcare professionals, charities and people living with PMOS all have the opportunity to provide feedback before the final guideline is published later this year.

At PMOS Clinics, we welcome this progress. We also recognise that publishing guidance is only part of the journey. Ensuring that healthcare professionals have the knowledge, training and resources to put those recommendations into practice will be just as important.

We're grateful to organisations such as Verity who have spent many years campaigning for better recognition, research and care for people living with PMOS.

We'll be following the consultation closely and sharing updates as they happen.

What are your hopes for this new guideline? We'd love to hear your thoughts below.

PMOS is about far more than weight.

The most important conversations often begin with understanding how you're feeling, what symptoms you're experiencing and what support you may need.

24/06/2026

PMOS and perimenopause can sometimes share similar symptoms.
That's why understanding your personal health picture matters so much.
If you're struggling with symptoms and would like to explore what support might be right for you, you're welcome to book a free call with our team.

PMOS doesn't disappear when you reach your 40s.
At the same time, other hormonal changes may also begin to occur.
Understanding what's driving your symptoms can help you make informed decisions about your health.
If you're finding it difficult to work out whether your symptoms may be related to PMOS, perimenopause or something else, you're welcome to book a free call with our team.

Having a diagnosis can be helpful.

But it's also important not to assume that every symptom automatically comes from the same place.
Ongoing symptoms deserve ongoing conversations.

Health is rarely as simple as one diagnosis explaining every symptom.

If something doesn't feel right, it's important to keep asking questions and seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Thinking about getting support, but not quite sure where to start?

One of the things we hear most often is:
"I've been meaning to book a call, but I don't know what to expect."

A free PMOS Health Review is simply a conversation.
We'll talk about what's been going on for you, the symptoms you're experiencing, what's frustrating you most, and what you've already tried.
We'll also explain the different ways we may be able to support you and answer any questions you have.

There's no pressure and no obligation to take things any further.

Sometimes it helps to have a conversation with someone who understands PMOS and can help you explore your options.
