Signs you’re an Executive Assistant:
You’ve said “leave it with me” about something you had absolutely no idea how to solve yet.
You can spot a diary clash from across the room before the person booking it has even noticed.
“Quick call” has never once meant quick.
You’ve perfected the reply that sounds warm and helpful, while internally knowing you are absolutely not available.
Someone has asked for an “urgent” meeting. Aren’t they all, hun?
“I’ll just quickly...” has personally ruined more evenings than you’d like to admit.
You’ve cancelled a lunchtime workout because “something came up”.
You’ve eaten lunch at your desk more times this year than you’ve eaten in the kitchen or with a colleague.
You said, “No worries, all fine!” today about something that was, in fact, not fine.
You know the Wi-Fi password, the printer’s quirks, and everyone’s coffee order, but can’t remember what you did at the weekend.
And your out-of-office has never actually meant out of office.
How many of these did you nod along to? Same.
Which is exactly why I created The EA Stress Reset. It’s free, quick, and doesn’t require you to overhaul your entire life to feel the benefit.
Comment “RESET” and I’ll send it over.
What would you add to the list?
