On the 26.04.2024 I changed my life forever! I had a Gastric Sleeve Operation.

We are nearly 2 years on from the day that I decided I’d had enough and wanted to change my life!

It has been such a rollercoaster! But honestly the BEST decision I have ever made in my life!

What has having the Gastric Sleeve done for me?

- I have a million times more confidence
- I enjoy buying new clothes👕
- I love having the energy and ability to play for hours on end with my boy 💙
- My smile is real now 😁
- I own a 3 story house and can now walk to the top floor without stopping on the first floor because I can’t breathe 😩

As hard as the journey has been, it’s been worth every minute!

For anyone that is considering having this done or has booked in for the surgery! It will be the hardest choice and process that you will EVER go through but I promise it would be a life changing choice ♥️🙌

I haven’t posted for 5months and a few people have asked how I’m getting on!

So here’s the update!

I have lost another 10lb in the last 5months! I’m ok with this, however battling hard daily to not lose anymore (even though I am still classed as overweight according to the BMI) that’s insane, right?

I’m exactly 11stone which indicates a 7 stone 12pound loss in the last year!

I try my best to eat between 7 & 10 times a day! This sounds extreme but I literally have no more than 5 bites of a meal at a time. This is the new normal for me and I couldn’t be happier!

I’m excited for the future and for my little lad to enjoy days out cycling, going to the park, going to football etc and for me to be able to do all of those things with him without worrying that I can’t, or won’t fit or won’t be able to breathe is just the most amazing thing ever!

Roll on teaching my son how to live life to the fullest ♥️

It’s been a while since I posted!

I expected to put abit of weight on over the Christmas period but I didn’t! In fact I lost another pound!

Current weight: 11 stone 5pound!

I’m so happy that I am stable with me weight now. I just need to increase the fluid I’m drinking and I think I’m on to a gooden!

Here to 2025, a healthy, more energetic and happy Nicole ♥️

This first picture was my wedding day, this smile was only because I was marrying my best friend and had the most amazing day ♥️

The second picture is today, where I watched my cousin marry her best friend. Todays smile was a happy, confident and wanting to be seen smile ♥️

It’s the same smile but now it feels a whole lot better 😍

My only regret is not doing it sooner, especially before my wedding 😔

WEIGH DAY: 11st 10p

I really happy that I’m staying around this bracket as I don’t want to lose much more weight. I feel healthiest I’ve been in 10 years!

I have slowly started to increase my calories throughout the day and start getting in more protein 💪

I was speaking to my mum this week, as when I first ever mentioned having the op, my mum was terrified that it wasn’t a good idea, however she spoke with my sister, who knew people that had, had the same op and said it might be exactly what she needs!

Well it was, fast forward 7months, on the hardest journey I’ve EVER been on, I feel like I used to, my confidence is belting, my clothes fit, I’m not hiding away in oversized clothes! And my mum believes that this op saved me!

Someone last week asked me if I would put myself through it again! The answer is yes I would! However, I would be fully prepared for the horrible ride that was in store, I knew it was going to be hard, but I massively underestimated it

I will do another weight check in, in 2weeks time 💪🙌♥️

So me & Rach have started to go through what is our dressing room and is going to be our little boy’s nursery 🤎☁️…
We came across this jumper that I wore in April 2024 to come home from hospital after my Gastic Sleeve Operation… I couldn’t help but try it on and LOOK 👀

This holiday has been a very different holiday for me. I’ve enjoyed doing other things that haven’t involved eating, I know that sounds ridiculous but my whole life revolved around my next meal ( Especially on holiday)

I have done nothing in the gym since my operation 6/7 months ago, however I’m ready to get back into it. When I was younger the gym was my safe space and I loved it, unfortunately my knee injuries stopped me playing football and although I could of still attended the gym, it gave me no purpose as I couldn’t play the sport I loved!

I still have a way to go, although I don’t really want to lose any more weight! It’s all about toning up now and getting my body into a shape of muscle and healthy fat!

The real hard work starts now, back at the gym next week and hopefully start seeing progress in the next 6months.

This first picture I never allowed my wife to post of me as I was so ashamed of how I looked! Roll on 7month post op and I couldn’t possibly be happier!

Although this is a very different holiday, as when I come here my priority was always food and where/ what we were eating next!

It is hard being in this beautiful place and not being able to enjoy a sit down meal like I used too! But the results of how I now feel out weight all of that!

If you are ever considering this op, just know it’s the hardest but most rewarding thing you will EVER do 👌

2pound loss over the last 2weeks. I’m happy that this weight loss is now slowing down 🙌🙌 (never thought I’d say that in a million years)
