✨ **POST-OP SWELLING — BEFORE & AFTER MLD** ✨

Look at the difference through the **lower abdomen and above the incision** 👀

This client came to me after tummy tuck and reconstructive breast surgery. Swelling to the lower abdomen and above incision line is reduced and she’s made to feel more comfortable ♥️

Following her post-operative MLD, you can see a visible reduction in the fullness above the incision and a smoother-looking abdominal contour.

This client **did not have a seroma or fibrosis** — but this is exactly why I believe post-op clients deserve someone who specialises in **post-surgical aftercare**, rather than simply booking a standard lymphatic massage.

When I treat my post-op clients, I'm not just performing MLD.

I'm assessing how the swelling is presenting, paying attention to the tissues and incision area, monitoring how things change between appointments and adapting the treatment as recovery progresses.

I'm also alert to changes that may require referral back to your surgeon or medical team.

Where appropriate during recovery, I can also provide **post-op taping and specialist fibrosis massage** if these are needed.
