Our next HEIR Time Talk: Measuring Success will be on Wednesday 14th October at 7:30pm

Measuring the impact of EAS is important for the participant, commissioners and providers to know what’s working well and what isn’t. There is a plethora of measurement models across health, education and wellbeing which use a blend of both quantitative (things that can be counted) and qualitative (how people feel) metrics.

At the 2026 EASP AGM, our members asked for a standard set of measures with flexibility for different EAS modalities to be developed.

We know that some EAS providers are well versed in using measurement tools and produce sophisticated impact reports to demonstrate their value. Providers who are new to the EAS sector may need a little help to get started. Wherever you are as a provider, it is clear, that funders and commissioners require robust measurement processes to be in place and the legitimacy of EAS requires a sound evidence base to demonstrate its value.

This one hour webinar, with guest speaker Jo Coombs, CEO of The HorseWorld Trust, builds on Theory of Change and will discuss how and why measurement is important and some simple tools to consider. It will untangle the jargon and examine some common ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ indicators. Jo brings her knowledge and experience from their Discovery Program which has recently embarked on a program of work to measure impact.

The webinar is a must for all EAS Providers; whether you are new and wish to learn or have your own established measures in place and wish to share your knowledge

The session is CPD eligible
