As Maternal Mental Health Week comes to an end, I wanted to share something a little personal 🤍
After becoming a mum, I experienced postnatal anxiety and honestly didn’t feel like myself at times.
I loved my babies deeply, but my mind constantly raced with worry, health concerns and I often felt overwhelmed, overstimulated and mentally exhausted
One of the hardest parts for me was the insomnia.
Even when I was exhausted, my body and mind wouldn’t properly switch off. The anxiety felt constant.
Looking back now, I realise how many mums quietly carry these feelings while continuing to show up every day for everyone around them.
My own experience deepened my understanding of emotional wellbeing and later led me to support not just children, but parents and babies too through mindfulness and relaxation.
Maternal mental health matters and support really does make a difference 🤍

Baby Yoga with Wonder & Awe 🤍
So happy to be back in St Patrick’s chapel hill, Lisburn for our Summer Term ☀️🤍

Take some time out to breathe, stretch, and connect with your baby in a calm, nurturing space.
These gentle baby yoga sessions are suitable from 8 weeks to crawling and include:
*Gentle yoga for mum and baby and some gentle massage for baby
*Fun action songs, tummy time and parachute play
*Relaxation and simple mindfulness for mums
*Time to connect with other mums and enjoy relaxed, supportive chats
*Each class finishes with a warm cuppa, a sweet treat in a supportive, baby-led environment ☕

Encourages bonding, co-regulation, and calm
Supports physical development and coordination
Promotes early language development
Can help with digestion and sleep
