We are going to be talking about dyeing your dreads 🫟 and our recommendations!!
ALWAYS do a Patch test, at the tip and the root of one dread!! We don’t want to be losing dreads ✂️
Don’t use chemical dyes if your hair is very dry 🌵
We would recommend Henna, keep it natural 🌈
Paint on the dye 🖌️ don’t squeeze it in as it could damage the internal structure of a dreadlock 🚧
In prep of new installation if you want coloured dreads, PLEASE dye hair a week before 📆
Make sure you rinse, rinse, RINSE your dreads 🚿
If hair is damaged after the dyeing process use natural moisture eg. coconut oil, argan oil. 🥥
Wash your hair as normal 💆

This amazing set of mature dreads never really needs much maintenance so normally root maintenance is needed 🙌🙌
Always a joy to maintain dreadlocks of funky colours 🎨
Information about dyeing and colouring dreads will be coming 🧑‍🎨🧑‍🎨

Hey Dread Heads, 🤩🤩

Here we have Ali, who has had dreads before but took them out, she came to us looking to install a full head with synthetic extensions 🙌🙌
This whole process took 6 hours, and we managed to create this beautiful full set balayage dreads, as this is a new set Ali has only come in for one maintenance session, however the difference is unbelievable and you would think they were further into their journey 🫶🫶
Massive thanks to Ali for letting Tara create this amazing set and we can’t wait to see them develop and mature. 🎉🎉

💫John’s Story 💫

As someone who was quite anxious to start his dreadlock journey, John put his trust in Tara to embark on this together. We installed his full head of dreads on 7th of March 2024. With him regularly coming in for maintenance as well as his care and patience they have transformed into an incredible set 🤩
His last maintenance was the 3rd of July 2025 and the difference in how they have matured and grown is noticeable over the year! 🥳
Massive thanks to John for putting trust into Tara, the work he put in himself and for letting us share his story! 🤙🫶

👷Maintenance

🩷 £100 for full head,
💜 £75 half head (11 - 25 dreads)

🤩 Installation

💛 Full head installation - £250-£300 dependant on amount of dreads installed
💚 Half head installation -£125 -£150

⭐️Other Services

🧡 Reconstruction - needs a consultation in person first to be able to give accurate quote. Ranging from £150 -£200
💙 Synthetic extensions - bought or custom made - Prices subject to extension prices and amount of extensions needed

🔮In the future, when a location is acquired, Tara will again be offering Tattoos at £50 an hour. It is only while we are finding a suitable location.
