💫 Did you know I offer One-to-One Mindfulness Sessions for Children? 💫

What it’s about:

These sessions give children a safe, supportive space to explore their feelings, manage stress, and build essential coping skills. Each session combines talking, gentle Reiki, and guided meditation, helping children feel calmer, more focused, and confident. Sessions can focus on specific challenges or simply help children feel lighter, happier, and at peace.

Who it’s for:

Children aged 6–14 who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or struggle to express their emotions.

Location:

Bliss Yoga Studio, Liverpool

Duration:

1-hour sessions

Why I do what I do:

I believe every child deserves the chance to connect with their inner calm, build confidence, and feel supported in their emotions. Mindfulness changed my life, giving me tools to cope, stay grounded, and navigate challenges with clarity. I wish it had been available to me as a child, and now my aim is to guide children to find the light within themselves, helping them feel more resilient, balanced, and empowered in everyday life.

✨ Another step forward!

I'm so happy to share that I’ve officially completed my Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) 💫

This qualification deepens my understanding of how to support children with diverse needs—emotionally, educationally, and mindfully. 💛

Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. This is just one of many ways I’m continuing to grow, learn, and show up for the amazing little humans I work with. 🌈

✨ I’m feeling so grateful as I reflect on the incredible journey with one of my young clients, who I’ve had the honor of working with since my very first Mindfulness Magic for Kids course. 🥹

Together, we’ve navigated through anxiety, pre-high school nerves, and those tricky pre-teen challenges. Being a safe space for her and her mum fills my heart with so much love.

Our sessions are a blend of heart-to-heart chats, discussing how to overcome obstacles, followed by a calming guided meditation. We finish off with some Reiki and crystal healing—leaving her feeling lighter and floating away with peace and clarity. ✨🌸

I’m so proud of how far she’s come, and I’m honored to be a part of her journey. 💖

Sorry for the radio silence, but here’s what I’ve been up to! ✨ I’m so proud to have achieved my Diploma in Mindfulness for Children. Although I still teach mindfulness to children, I felt the need to deepen my knowledge—and this is one step closer to my dream!

Helping children navigate their emotions, build resilience, and develop a sense of calm is my passion, and I’m excited to continue growing and sharing this work.

Hello April! 🌸

As we embrace the freshness of a new month, let's welcome in the blooming flowers, the gentle breeze, and the promise of new beginnings. April signifies growth, renewal, and the beauty of change.

Let's fill our days with laughter, gratitude, and moments of joy.

May this month inspire us to bloom just like the flowers around us, spreading positivity and kindness wherever we go.

Week 4 - Breathwork, meditation & Chakra Dancing

So today was the 4th and final week. Can't believe have fast it's gone.

Today we were really exited we all scored 10 on and had really happy emoji on our how are we feeling today boards 😁

We learnt about Breathwork and how we can use it when we are feeling sad, angry and frustrated emotions. We used the box breath technique, the finger on hand technique. The swirl technique and also the balloon technique, we loved exploring different techniques to see which one worked best for us.

We then sat in a circle and attempted to do a meditation, we all tried but ended up laughing so much, I explained that this is okay because it is a good emotion. We discussed how if we are feeling sad, angry, frustrated we know that meditation is a way we can sit and listen to relaxing music to help calm us down.

We also learned that not every technique is for everyone and that we are okay to explore each one and stick to one we like.

Next we briefly learnt about chakras and how movement is a really good way to balance and shake off negative energy so we got in a circle and we danced and danced 'shaking off' all our energy, I loved seeing all the kids taking it in turns of letting eachother go in the middle if the circle and show our best dance moves. They finally got a chance to see mine too 😂💃🏽

What I love is they are balancing their chakras through movement and play whilst having so much fun!

Lastly as it was Easter... the Easter bunny left some affirmation Easter eggs for the children to find. They loved the Easter egg hunt!

I absolutely loved today's session! So much fun!

🥹🥹🥹 I'm not crying! How thoughtful 💖

I can't believe how quick that course went, I have loved every minute of it, seeing how much they have learnt each week, seeing how many friendships they have made, how confident they have become, how inquisitive they are, seeing how exited they are when they first come in to class, learning that they have been practising the tools I've taught them at home. I feel so lucky to be able to do this!

What a lovely group of children, they will be missed 🙏🏽🥹🫶🏽

Week 2 ~ Emotional regulation & Journalling

So today we learned what emotions there are, we worked in groups of 3 to write down how many emotions we know.

We then played a 'How will I feel if' game using emoji cards. This helps us practise trying to recognise how we feel.

We played an emotion word game, we coloured all the emotion words that belonged to all the different emotion groups 'happy' 'sad' 'angry' etc. We also discovered new emotions that we hadn't heard of, this gives us the tools to have more awareness about how we feel and use them in our everyday lives.

Talking about emotions through play helped us learn about emotions and have fun at the same time.

We then talked about ways we can cope with certain emotions that come up for us, we had great strategies to help us like breathing, playing games, journalling.

We the talked about journalling how good it feels to write down our feelings, wether we are happy/ sad/ angry.

We then decorated our very own Journals to take home and keep, and use whenever we might need them.

We also got to take home a sheet if journal prompts to help us incase we get stuck in what to write in our journals.

This class is probably the most important one to me, talking about feelings can be so tricky. And teaching them these tools through activities will hopefully help to make that easier in the future!
