Move it or Lose it with Chris - I can now confirm I am able to invite new members into two classes. . .

I have had a number of enquires over the last few months, but have been unable to accommodate those requests. . However, due to a number non-attendees and long term absences. . I am now able to offer a few places in two of my Rainhill classes.

Classes at Rainhill Guide House will take place as normal this week:

Thursday 28th May:
> 10:00am - 11:00am
> 11:30am - 12:30pm

Friday 29th May:
> 9:30am - 10:30am
> 11:00am - 12:00pm (Circuits)

It looks like it will be a little cooler by then, still warm, but we will have the shutters down to keep it cool 😎 and all the doors open for fresh air. .

Make sure you bring your water 💦 bottles, and please rest assured class routines/exercises will be toned down with plenty of water breaks 💦 to avoid dehydration. .

**Gentle Reminder** If you have booked in for classes this week but find you can’t attend, please don’t wait until an hour before class to cancel your place🤷‍♀️

> Thursday classes should be cancelled by 8:00pm tonight.

> Friday classes should be cancelled by 8:00pm on Thursday evening.

I’ve really enjoyed my 3 day break, it was just what I needed, and the lovely weather was a bonus 🌞I hope all my class members have enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and made the most of the beautiful weather. .

It’s another hot day 🥵but it was so good to get back to class at St Ann's Millennium Centre this morning. .

I must say a big ‘Thank You’ to 20 of my class members for joining this morning’s session, despite the high temperatures 🔥Now that’s what I call dedication to fitness! Thankfully is was nice and cool in the building and I was able to deliver a nice toned down class with plenty of timeout for drinks & hydration 💦

**Reminder**Please stay hydrated throughout the day in this heat, even if you don’t feel thirsty, it’s good to drink little and often in this heat. .

I must say ‘Well done’ to my class members for taking part in ‘Circuits’ in every class this week. . You worked really well together and managed to complete 8 different ‘Strength’ & ‘Balance’ workstations.

No equipment, just your own body weight & strength! Great work, but don’t forget your homework 💁‍♀️

It’s been a good start to the week with a great ‘Circuits’ Class at St Helens Chain Lane Community Centre with 29 class members taking part and powering through 8 different exercises!

Today’s session focused on building both strength and balance — Two key components of overall fitness and everyday movement. Strength training helps improve muscle tone, supports joints, boosts metabolism, and increases confidence in daily activities. Balance work is equally important, helping to improve stability, coordination, posture, and reducing the risk of falls and injuries. .

A brilliant effort from everyone today with great energy, determination, and teamwork throughout the class. Well done everyone!

All classes this week will go ahead as normal at the usual times and in the usual venues, as listed below>>

❇️ Gentle Reminder - As always, if you have been away from classes and you are planning on attending this week, then please let me know.

❇️ Text/WhatsApp 07913028258

❇️ At least 24hrs notice is required for cancellations

❇️ Your prior notice of holidays/appointments etc will have a booked place on you return, if this is different than you first planned, or you won’t be attending class, then please let me know before the day you are expected back to class. .

❇️ Our classes work best when all class members commit to attending their hourly class consistently and respects the booking/cancellation process we have in place.

❇️ Late cancellations, especially within an hour of a class starting have a much bigger impact than people often realise. . .

❇️ Not only does it prevent others from taking those spaces, but low attendance can completely change the energy and dynamic of a class that’s been carefully planned for a full group in advance. . .

❇️ Thank You, to class members who consistently show up each week, and help to create such a positive training environment, it makes all the difference to the motivation and enjoyment of the sessions for everyone including me!

Another great week with Move it or Lose it with Chris We started off the week with a cheque presentation at St Helens Chain Lane Community Centre after everyone had done their exercises ‘of course’ We followed up with some great classes at St Ann's Millennium Centre & Rainhill Guide House ending the week with a great ‘Circuits’ class - Have a lovely weekend and I’ll see you back in classes next week , when we start our new ‘Balance Challenge’ 💁‍♀️

We’ve had a lovely morning at St Helens Chain Lane Community Centre - We started with a great workout together with 30 class members, before our fundraising presentation. .

Thank you to my class members for the lovely warm welcome given to Joan O’Hanlon from the ‘Hargreaves’s Dementia Trust’

It was my pleasure to present Joan with a cheque for £500:00 on behalf of all my Move it or Lose it with Chris
class members who’s kindness & generosity helped to raise this money through events, raffles & donations in the last year. .

Thank you to Pam, Chris & Carol for doing a great job making the tea & coffee for us all, and thanks to those who helped tidy up afterwards. .
