Fun in the sun ☀️
We enjoyed an afternoon in our Garden on Friday! The residents were catching rays, munching on a cheese board and sipping their drink of choice 😎

We then had a fun activity of naming our Lambanana! each resident put a name in the hat and we picked out the winning name... Twister!

What a fantastic Friday we had!
We started the day with a lovely service from St Michael's; who gave uplifting readings, prayers and Hymns for the Residents who wanted to join🙏🏻

Then, in the afternoon we had the wonderful Wall of Sound Choir group in for the most moving performance! We sang, laughed, (shed a few tears at some of the slower songs) and danced with our tambourines🎵🎤 what an inspirational group of people who arrived with nothing but great voices and good vibes! Another fantastic session with Carla! The residents love how each week is something different to try out and learn...

This week Carla motivated the residents to exercise their leg muscles by using fun techniques with a football ⚽️ The class ended with a competative game of Basketball, what a great time we all had 🏅

We have been busy this weekend enjoying a visit from Boos Mobile Zoo, a performance from ShineBright Wellbeing & tucking into our Easter treats!

Safe to say the residents were lapping up cuddles from the Meerkcats, Guinea Pigs & tortoise ✨

Today we focused on stretching out our muscles, learned how to massage tension out of our necks, (got a bit competative with a few games) and even cycled!

Safe to say we were all a bit tired afterwards!

Getting in the Easter spirit 🐰🐣 we made cute Bunny wreaths to hang around the home! This activity is great for residents that struggle with dexterity and fiddly crafts projects.

The shape is made from cardboard and then the residents wrapped wool around, creating a lovely little bunny decoration!

Well done to everyone involved 💛💐

The residents are loving our fortnightly classes and feel so energised afterwards!
