Not everybody is going to see the value in the work that you do.
And if you work in the wellness industry, that’s something you’ll come up against time and time again.
People will happily spend money on things that bring short-term pleasure or instant gratification. Nights out. Takeaways. Fast fashion. The latest gadget.
Yet when it comes to investing in their health, wellbeing, mindset, personal growth, or long-term quality of life, many will hesitate.
That’s not a criticism.
It’s simply a reflection of where people are on their journey and what they prioritise at that moment in time.
The important thing is not to allow someone else’s perception of value make you question your own.
If you’re a coach, therapist, practitioner, fitness professional or wellness business owner, remember what it is you’re really offering.
You’re not just providing a service.
You’re creating transformation.
You’re helping people feel better in their bodies.
You’re helping them improve their mental wellbeing.
You’re supporting them through challenges.
You’re helping them build confidence, resilience, self-belief, and healthier lives.
That kind of work isn’t always easy to quantify, but that doesn’t make it any less valuable.
Not everyone will understand the value of what you do.
Not everyone will choose to invest in it.
And that’s okay.
Because there are plenty of people who do see the value.
People who are actively looking for the support, guidance, and expertise you provide.
People whose lives will genuinely be improved because of the work you do.
So stand firm.
Keep showing up.
Keep serving.
Keep making the difference you’re here to make.
And never let someone else’s inability to see your value make you forget it yourself. ❤️🙏
