September is also gynae cancer awareness month.

There are five gynaecological cancers: womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Together, they affect 22,050 women and people with gynae organs each year in the UK.

Every September for Gynae Cancer Awareness Month we raise awareness of the five gynae cancers and raise money for their prevention and earlier detection.

There are many urology diseases. From the urology cancers, including – bladder, kidney, prostate, pe**le and testicular cancers to the benign conditions including incontinence, urinary tract infections (UTIs), erectile dysfunction and kidney stones.

Throughout the Month we highlight stats and facts on urology health and share new videos and resources, deliver webinars, hold roadshows and health and wellbeing sessions, organise events and fundraising activities.

Urology Awareness Month is an annual campaign taking place in September to raise awareness of urology diseases. It is run by The Urology Foundation.
