Today was National Good Manners Day, and to celebrate, our residents and carers shared what they believe to be the height of good manners💬💕

From simple acts of kindness and remembering your pleases and thank yous, to those thoughtful little courtesies that can really brighten someone’s day, we loved hearing everyone’s different answers🥰

💙🤝 I Trust My Resident ! 🤝💙

Today our carers and residents took part in a brilliant trust exercise… and there were plenty of laughs along the way! 😂🤣

Our residents had to sit behind a carer and try to knock a plastic cup off their head using a pool noodle! 🥤🎯

Safe to say, our residents had SO much fun! 😆🙌 Some of our carers may have got hit just a little harder than others… 👀😂💥

What a fantastic activity filled with trust, teamwork, smiles and lots of laughter! 💕🥰

Well done to all of our brave carers for putting their trust in our residents! 🤣👏💙

🍂✨ Moments of the Month ✨🍂
🥰💕August 2026💕🥰

What a jam-packed month August has been! 🥰 We’ve enjoyed so many fun-filled activities, uplifting outings and special moments together. 💕🌟

🦉 Our Wise Owls have been keeping those minds active, while T in the Carpark and Supermarket Sweep brought plenty of smiles and laughter! 🛒☕😂

💪 We kept moving with our Fun Exercise Groups and Carpet Bowls, and took time to celebrate our wonderful residents with our Resident Spotlight. 🌟

💗 Our Comfort Club and Companion Club gave us the chance to relax, chat, reminisce and enjoy some lovely company together. 🤗☕💬

🥂 We raised a glass for National Prosecco Day, while our Fruity Fantastic Kart brought a splash of colour and some tasty treats! 🍓🍉🍊

🌺 Our ladies enjoyed a beautiful trip to the Botanical Gardens, while the lads headed off for a fantastic day at the Riverside Museum! 🚌🌿🚗

👣 We even celebrated National I Love My Feet Day, enjoyed the Summer Sun ☀️ and had a lovely Mary Watson outing. 💕

🧠 There was some friendly competition at our Pub Quiz, plenty of fun and laughter along the way, and we were delighted to welcome Ben the Dog for a very special visit! 🐶❤️

August has been filled with friendship, laughter, new experiences and lots of wonderful memories. 📸💖

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these moments so special for our residents. 🥰

🐾🐕The Wonderful Power of Pet Therapy 🐾🐕

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Ben to spend some special time with our lovely residents, and what a wonderful visit it was.❤️

The joy and smiles Ben brought were truly memorable. Each resident enjoyed their own quality time with him, whether it was a cuddle, a gentle stroke, or simply enjoying his calm and comforting company. 🐶🥰

Pet therapy can bring so many wonderful benefits, providing comfort and companionship, encouraging conversation and interaction, and helping to create a sense of calm and wellbeing. It was heartwarming to see the special connection Ben made with each of our residents and the happiness he brought to their day. 💕🐾

A big thank you to Sara for bringing Ben in to visit us and for giving our residents such a lovely experience. Your kindness helped create some truly precious moments and memories for everyone.

We hope to see you and Ben again very soon! ❤️🐶🐾

💝 Joan’s 100th Birthday 💝

🌟 Resident Spotlight 🌟

Yesterday was Mary Watson Unit’s residents’ outing, and this one was made extra special as we were accompanied by our lovely Catherine. 💕🥰

This was the first time Catherine has been able to join us on a trip, making it such a special moment for her and everyone who shared the day with her. 🥹💖

🍽️ We started our day with a delicious lunch at The Sweet Chestnut in Dunfermline, enjoying some lovely food and time together.

🎳 We then walked down to the bowling alley, where the friendly competition began! Our residents had great fun competing against each other, with plenty of laughs and encouragement along the way. 😄👏

🏆 But there could only be one winner… and Catherine was victorious, getting the highest score! 🎉🎳🥇

Well done, Catherine! 👏💖 What a fantastic achievement and such a wonderful way to celebrate your first outing with us. 🌟

A truly special day filled with smiles, laughter and lovely memories. 💕✨

🛍️🛒🤩 Wild Down The Aisles! 🤩🛒🛍️

We recently enjoyed a trip to the Co-op in Lochore to recreate the famous Supermarket Sweep! 🛒💨🤣

What a brilliant time we had racing up and down the aisles, grabbing our items and bringing a little bit of Supermarket Sweep madness to Lochore! 😂🛍️

A huge thank you to all the Co-op staff, who were great sports on the day and helped make it such a fun experience! 👏🥰

🏆 Congratulations to the Red Team, who were crowned our winners after returning all of their items in the quickest time! ❤️🛒⏱️

Safe to say, we had an absolute blast… and we WILL be back! 👀🤣🛒
