Marie Gonzatto Reflexology I believe in the transformative power of touch.

Reflexology is more than just a treatment,it’s a dialogue between the body and the mind.I help people reconnect with themselves, release stress, and rediscover balance, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Just because the temperature has dropped doesn’t always mean our bodies have recovered.

Periods of prolonged heat can place the body under stress.

Poor sleep, dehydration, increased heart rate and constantly trying to regulate our body temperature can leave the nervous system feeling overstimulated long after the weather has cooled.

You might notice you’re still feeling tired, tense, restless, struggling to switch off or simply not feeling quite yourself.

Reflexology encourages the body to move from a constant “doing” state into a calmer, more restorative one.

Many clients describe feeling deeply relaxed during treatment, with improvements in sleep, reduced tension and an overall sense of balance afterwards.

It’s not about treating the heat itself,it’s about giving your body the opportunity to recover from the effects it’s had on you.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to slow down and reset, this is it.

You look after everyone else… but who’s looking after you?

One of the things I love most about being a reflexologist is witnessing the transformation that can happen when someone simply allows themselves to stop.

So many of us spend our days
- rushing from one responsibility to the next
-caring for our families
-supporting friends
-meeting deadlines
-juggling endless to-do lists.

We become so focused on looking after everyone else that our own wellbeing quietly slips to the bottom of the list.

I see it all the time.
Clients arrive carrying the weight of stress, exhaustion, tension, and overwhelm.
They often tell me they haven’t taken time for themselves in weeks, months, or sometimes even years.

Then something beautiful happens.

For an hour, the outside world can wait. There are no demands, no expectations, no pressure to be anything other than yourself.

Just a calm, caring space where you can relax, unwind, and reconnect with your body and mind.

Seeing someone leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more balanced than when they arrived is the reason I do what I do. It is a privilege to be part of that journey and to provide a space where people feel listened to, supported, and cared for.

Sometimes self-care isn’t about doing more. It’s about allowing yourself to pause.

✨ You deserve that time.✨ You deserve that care.✨ You deserve to be a priority too.

If you’ve been feeling stressed, tired, overwhelmed, or simply in need of some time for yourself, I’d be delighted to welcome you for a treatment.

Last week reminded me why I love what I do.

I had the privilege of supporting clients through a wide range of experiences and life stages, including ADHD, sensory OCD, pregnancy, natural labour preparation, perimenopause, nervous system regulation, and Zone Face Lift treatments.

What connects all of these sessions is not the condition or life stage itself, but the person sitting in front of me.

Some clients arrive feeling overwhelmed by sensory input or the demands of everyday life.
Others are navigating hormonal changes, preparing to welcome a baby, or simply seeking a moment of calm in an increasingly busy world.

Reflexology creates a space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and give their bodies an opportunity to move away from stress and towards rest, balance, and recovery.

No two sessions are ever the same, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding. Every client brings their own story, challenges, and goals, and it is always a privilege to be trusted as part of their wellbeing journey.

Thank you to everyone who chose to spend time on my treatment couch this week.

We get so used to being “on”

On alert.
On deadline.
On emails.
On notifications.
On responsibilities.
On autopilot.
On demand
On pushing through.
On for everyone else.

That we forget what “off” even feels like.

When the nervous system stays switched on for too long, it stops recognising stress as stress.
It becomes the new normal.
Tight shoulders feel normal.
Shallow breathing feels normal.
Jaw tension feels normal.

But your body isn’t designed to live in constant survival mode.
It’s designed to cycle.
To activate… and then to rest.

When you finally allow yourself to switch off ,even for an hour ,something beautiful happens.
Breath deepens.
Muscles soften.
Thoughts slow.
Your body remembers safety.

This is what I hold space for in my little green, calm, home studio 🌿
A pause.
A reset.
A gentle reminder to your nervous system that it’s safe to exhale.

When was the last time you truly switched off? 💚

What to expect from Reflexology?

Reflexology is not about instant transformation ,it’s about creating the conditions for your body to reset, regulate, and restore itself naturally.

After your first session, you may feel deeply relaxed, lighter, clearer, or notice subtle shifts in tension.
Sometimes the effects are quieter at first ,and that’s completely normal.
Much of the work happens beneath the surface, as the nervous system begins to unwind and recalibrate.

With regular sessions, the changes often become more noticeable:
• tension doesn’t hold for as long
• the face and body soften more easily
• stress feels more manageable
• calm becomes more consistent and sustainable

One session begins the process.
Repetition creates the shift.

Allow yourself 3–5 sessions to truly notice the difference.

Small shifts. Meaningful change.

Reading this really means so much 🤍
Reflexology works by encouraging the body to slow down, reset, and come back into balance, something we often don’t give ourselves time to do.
It’s always an honour to hold that space for you, and I’m so grateful for your trust and kind words .

I’m often asked : “What are you actually doing?”

During reflexology, I’m not guessing ,I’m working specific zones and systems in your body.

Each area of the foot links to somewhere else.

So depending on what you need, I may focus on:

• Lymphatic system → to support fluid movement + reduce that “puffy/heavy” feeling
• Endocrine system → for hormonal balance (yes, this includes HRT support)
• Solar plexus → to calm the nervous system + stress response
• Spine reflex → to support overall body tension + alignment

And if something feels extra tender?
That gives me feedback on where your body might need more support.

Every treatment is tailored.
Nothing random.
Nothing generic.

Reflexology works because your feet are like a map of your entire body.

Each area (or reflex point) connects to organs, glands, and systems ,including your nervous system.

When gentle, intentional pressure is applied, it sends signals through the body that help shift you out of “fight or flight” and into “rest and restore.”

✨ This is why it’s not just about the feet
✨ It’s about regulating the whole system
✨ It’s about creating safety from within

Many people don’t realise… your body already knows how to heal ,sometimes it just needs the right kind of touch to remember.

If you’ve experienced that deep sense of calm after a session… now you know why

Because that area’s been holding tension for a while.

That “crunchy” or grainy sensation I might on your feet is called crystal is often linked to areas of stagnation ,where circulation, tension, or energy hasn’t been flowing as freely.

In reflexology, different parts of the foot correspond to different areas of the body.
When a reflex point feels textured or sensitive, it can indicate that the related area might be under a bit of stress or imbalance.

With consistent work, these areas often soften as circulation improves and the body begins to rebalance.

So no, it’s not random… your feet are telling a story.
