I am pleased to reach the halfway mark; having completed 1,500 push-ups this morning.

Recently, I signed up to fundraise for Cancer Research UK.
Stories of close families & friends having battles with cancer are common. As for me, I have had a university (USM) course-mate whose life ended due to colon cancer in 2017. In addition, a secondary school (Free School) schoolmate lost his battle with leukaemia in 2020, and early this year, a fellow Toastmaster at Surbiton Speakers also lost his battle with cancer.
Though cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years, more needs to be done. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
In helping Cancer Research UK improve results even faster, I took on the challenge to do 100 push-ups per day to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
