Is September the new January?
There’s something about September that always feels like a fresh start.
The summer holidays are ending here in the UK, routines are returning, evenings are getting darker (🫣) and suddenly there’s an urge to GET YOUR LIFE TOGETHER. 😂
New routines. New habits. New goals.
And if improving your sleep is somewhere on that list, I’m all for it. But you don’t need to completely overhaul your life.
You don’t need the perfect bedtime routine.
You don’t need to be asleep by 10pm every night.
And you definitely don’t need to start getting up at 5am because somebody on Instagram told you successful people do. 🙄
Instead, pick one thing that could make sleep a little easier.
Maybe that’s getting up at a more consistent time.
Getting outside in the morning.
Putting a bit more distance between work and bed.
Or finally getting some help with the sleep problem you’ve been hoping will magically sort itself out.
Because the best routine isn’t the ‘perfect’ one.
It’s the one that actually fits your life.
So, what do you reckon? Is September the new January? And is there anything you’re resetting this month?
