Mindful eating prevents you from over eating, it also helps you observe what you eat and helps you connect and understand your body.

One tip I can give you to practice mindful eating is taking the time to chew your food and appreciating the flavours and textures of your meal, it also helps with over eating and fast eating habits where you swallow more than you chew.

Chewing your food mindfully and slowly can also help with digestion.

Fun fact, chewing can also be considered a mini workout for your jaws and facial muscles 😆
