ABOUT OMOMUKI 趣
Omomuki (趣) is a Japanese word that evokes the atmosphere, mood, and subtle flavour of a place or moment.
In an increasingly chaotic and fragmented world, OMOMUKI 趣 offers a creative space to explore what it means to be human.
Working online with people wherever they are in the world, the program invites you to explore your inner landscape and your relationship with the wider world through creative expression.
Together, we cultivate sensitivity, presence, and the subtle art of truly inhabiting our senses.
Through art, movement, and mindful attention, we deepen our connection with body, mind, imagination, and the living world, discovering a more peaceful and creative way of being.
OMOMUKI 趣 is rooted in my lifelong research, teaching, and practice in Deep Ecology, Art, Dance, Philosophy, and Psychotherapy. This includes research and teaching at Goldsmiths, University of London, and the University of the Arts London.
More than a therapeutic program, OMOMUKI 趣 is a daily way of being: a way of creativity, ecological awareness, and existential inquiry—one that continues to help me find beauty, meaning, and moments of peace amidst uncertainty. This I call:
THE DELICIOUS DELIGHT OF LIVING
No previous experience in art is needed.
We begin with Beginner’s Mind.
