The Pledge.

Nutrition / The Pledge: To start 2026 has asked their coaches to pledge an achievement we aim to commit to. My pledge has been in the works for several months now, and that’s to get back to basketball. It’s been an interesting transition so far preparing my body for ball again but we’re nearing time to put it to the test. Behind the sets and reps 🥬🥩🦾

One of the biggest mistakes I used to make, was over training.

In my pursuit of progress, I’d constantly neglect my recovery and wonder why despite working really hard in my sessions I wasn’t achieving results.

Build good habits OUTSIDE of the gym / training, and remember that your recovery is an actual training principle.

I used to have a ‘no days off’ mentality… and I still do.

The difference is, not every day in my program is about max intensity.

Everyday you prioritise your recover is just as, if not more important than your best set or rep. Work hard and work smart.
