CLCH Oral Health Promotion

CLCH Oral Health Promotion Oral health promotion The Oral Health Promotion service is part of the Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust.

We work in partnership with local councils and authorities, schools, Public Health England, other health professionals and communities. We provide support, training and toothbrushing programmes to targeted schools and offer oral health advice to families. We organise regular training to various healthcare professionals and work closely with children centres and community centres. The oral health p

romotion team offers advice and resources to vulnerable groups who may not have the opportunity to access dental care e.g. ESOL, Women’s group, special needs parent groups, refugees, elderly, homeless and foodbanks. Additional resources supplied to health visiting teams for developmental checks. The team supports local and national campaigns and attends community events throughout the year to promote the importance of good oral health. Meet The Team:

Few simple tips for a happy mouth:
• Brush last thing at night and at one other time during the day with fluoride toothpaste.
• Cut down on sugary foods and drinks.
• Visit a dental professional regularly.
• Pay attention to any unusual changes in your mouth.
