What happens when you bring together world class prosthetics, a user-first design philosophy, strategic partners, the right investors, and an ambitious team passionate about making a difference?

Strong commercial traction.

And that’s seen Koalaa named the winner of the ‘Export Achievement’ category at this year’s Science & Engineering Health Technologies Alliance (SEHTA) Healthcare Business Awards.

By focusing on wearer needs and working with fantastic partners, we have been building Koalaa’s export sales in more than 50 countries, including Ukraine, Gaza and the USA. Exports were over 85% of sales in 2025 and we’ve started 2026 strongly.

The SEHTA award recognises all of that momentum, plus our drive to do even more!

This traction comes at a pivotal time, as we prepare for our next stage of growth. We continue actively seeking conversations and with those interested in supporting the expansion of our global impact so we can help more people, in more places, more quickly.

This is Olena, part of the Koalaa Ukraine team helping bring early-stage prosthetic support to wounded military personnel across the country.
Working closely with clinicians and rehabilitation teams, Koalaa fittings are helping patients begin their recovery journey sooner, supporting mobility, independence, and confidence during rehabilitation.

This work continues to highlight the importance of accessible rehabilitation and strong local collaboration, and we’re incredibly proud of the teams making it possible every day.

Our work in Ukraine continues, with over 800 fittings completed so far.

Working closely alongside clinicians and rehabilitation teams, Koalaa is helping provide early access to prosthetic support for those injured in the war. Every fitting is about restoring confidence, supporting independence, and helping patients begin their rehabilitation journey sooner.
