Would you willingly risk stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, skin rashes, allergic swelling, breathing problems, ulcers, bleeding, kidney issues or liver damage?

Most people would say never. Yet many people accept that risk every day when reaching for common over-the-counter pain relief tablets.

The packet may look harmless. It sits on supermarket shelves, in handbags, kitchen drawers and bedside cabinets. Because it is common, people assume it is always gentle. But even everyday medicines come with leaflets listing possible side effects, from common to rare and serious. Patient leaflets for common painkillers include symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, indigestion, ulcers, bleeding, allergic reactions, swelling of the face or throat, breathing difficulty, kidney problems, liver problems, and severe skin reactions.

Of course, many people use these medicines safely when taken correctly. But “available without prescription” does not always mean “without risk”.

This is one reason many people choose homeopathy for everyday complaints. Homeopathy is valued for being gentle, natural in approach, and focused on supporting the body rather than burdening it with the same type of side-effect concerns often listed with conventional medicines.

What's your choice?

So often patients tell me, “Nothing has changed,” when I ask how they have been feeling. I don't believe it straight away and still prefer to see them for a follow-up appointment, because this is where the full picture often appears.

During follow-ups, I compare my notes from previous visits. I ask them to rate their wellbeing from 0 to 10, and then we notice progress that had gone unseen.

People naturally forget how difficult things were once they begin to feel better. They no longer remember the poor sleep, constant discomfort, frequent infections, low mood, or daily struggles that were present two months earlier.

When I compare sleep patterns, pain levels, energy, recurring symptoms, and emotional wellbeing, there are often clear improvements. The changes happened gradually, so they simply became the new normal.

That's why follow-ups are so important.

I reach for the Emotion Code when it naturally complements homeopathy, when I feel the root cause lies in a trapped emotion.

It’s not the tools that matter most here.
The greatest power lies in intention.

And this goes beyond the method itself.
In life in general, when our intention is clear and good, things tend to flow more easily.

When releasing emotions using Emotion Code method, we can use different tools:
- a magnet
- a pendulum
- or our hands
but we can also use nothing at all.
Because intention alone is often enough.

I use this method on myself, my family, or animals.
I also recommend it to my patients when I feel it’s right for them. I encourage self-learning and sometimes lend books 🙂

Once, on holiday, Leon broke a glass and went into panic.
Instead of stopping, he ran over the broken pieces and cut his foot.

Of course, the wound was cleaned and homeopathic remedies were given
but I felt there was more to do.

I used Emotion Code technique.

Only two emotions came up:
- shock and panic

And instantly, he calmed down.
His foot healed beautifully.

This season I started the battle against aphids earlier than usual, before they even appeared.

My first “spray” was Thuja 30c, followed a week later by Cina 30c.

We’ll see if it worked 🤞🤞🤞

Let's talk about Meningitis. Knowledge is power.

Meningitis is an inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It can be caused by bacteria, viruses and more rarely other microorganisms.

Common symptoms may include:
• high fever
• severe headache
• stiff neck
• sensitivity to light
• nausea or vomiting
• confusion or unusual drowsiness
• seizures
• cold hands and feet or limb pain
• sometimes a rash that does not fade when pressed

Signs in babies are usually poor feeding, unusual sleepiness, high-pitched crying or a bulging soft spot.

If meningitis is suspected, urgent medical care is essential.

Vaccination
There is no single vaccine covering all types of meningitis. In the UK, vaccines protect against several strains, including MenACWY and MenB, but they do not cover every possible cause.

How to reduce the risk
• good hygiene
• avoiding sharing drinks , food, and personal objects
• supporting the immune system - a strong immune system is the first line of defence

In homeopathy we treat the person and their symptom picture, not just the disease label.

It's worth considering:

• Belladonna - sudden onset, high fever, throbbing head
• Glonoinum - throbbing, heavy head, dizziness, feels like the skull is too small for the brain
• Apis mellifica - inflammation, sensitivity, swelling
• Helleborus - dullness, brain pressure
• Bryonia - intense headache worse from any movement

The remedy is always chosen individually based on individual symptoms.

Fear is rarely a good advisor. Watch for early symptoms, support your child's organism with supplements, constitutional remedies, a good diet, and don't suppress the fever.

A strong organism is built from early years.

I’ve had a short break from Facebook recently. I was organising my remedies and patient notes, and working on my website, which is now finished!
The website designer is an amazing Issa Qandil !

If you don't have a website or would like to improve the one you have, contact that man 👆

I usually write my posts as things happen rather than planning them weeks in advance. I write about what is currently on my mind or when something inspires me to share a post.

What topics would you like to read about?

I’m also thinking about writing another e-book, this time a much shorter one, focused on a specific topic. I often see patients with haemorrhoids, and I know that some people don’t feel comfortable describing their symptoms publicly on forums. An e-book could help them better understand the condition and choose an appropriate remedy for themselves. What do you think?

I’ve also gotten reading glasses before hitting 40! 😄

And just a reminder that a new price list will take effect from 24.03.2026 🙏

I’ve noticed many new members joining the group recently, so I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself.

First and foremost, I am a homeopath, trained over four years at an in-person college in London. I’ve also trained as a Recall Healing facilitator and an Emotion Code practitioner, but homeopathy always comes first for me. I do incorporate knowledge from other disciplines whenever it’s appropriate.

Most of my posts focus on homeopathy, but if you’d like to see more content from other approaches or topics, please let me know 🙏

Before Homeopathy Became “Alternative” - a little history

Homeopathy arrived in the United States in 1825 and rapidly became a recognised and widely used system of medicine.

By the late 1800s, the U.S. had homeopathic medical colleges, hospitals, and thousands of practitioners. Visiting a homeopathic doctor was the same as visiting a medical doctor.

Then came a major turning point in medical history.

The Flexner Report of 1910, funded by powerful industrial interests, including organisations associated with John D. Rockefeller, was introduced. It reshaped medical education in North America. It affected not only homeopathy, but herbalism as well. (I highly recommend reading about the Flexner Report, a truly fascinating piece of history.)

Following these reforms, most homeopathic medical schools gradually closed, and medicine shifted strongly toward a pharmaceutical-centered model.

Homeopathy did not suddenly become “alternative.” It was once mainstream and should go back to its roots.
