POV: my detox journey lately
– avoiding synthetic fragrance
– questioning synthetic laundry pods
– trying not to inhale “ocean breeze” factory-made chemical scents
– discovering microplastics are apparently in everything, especially athletic wear and children’s clothing
– aggressively scrubbing wax off organic produce. It keeps produce looking shiny in supermarkets but it’s toxic for human consumption
– emotionally recovering from one red sock in a white wash

I think this might be the moment I realised I’d made it.

Our Spruce Laundry Sheets were almost sold out in a single day at Whole Foods, which already felt pretty special.

But the cutest part of this video is actually my son’s commentary in the background… 🔊 sound on.

That’s when it really hit me. This might actually be what “making it” feels like.

Not the awards. Not the press. Not the listings.

Just seeing the pride in your children’s eyes when they think you’ve done something cool.

I started Spruce because I wanted a healthier home for my family and a better future for our children.

And in that moment I realised something simple. Our children are always watching.

They see what we build.
What we care about.
The choices we make every day.
