Number 18 is my personal favourite and I dare you not to add it to your plans this summer.

Because glorifying God does not have to look like sitting still in a quiet room. Sometimes it looks like this.

1. Vision board party with scripture anchoring each goal

2. Paint and sip with worship music instead of a regular playlist

3. Water park or outdoor festival as a family or friend group

4. Fish and charcuterie board making with a devotional to open

5. Outdoor picnic with a group Bible study

6. Cooking a meal together from a biblical recipe like unleavened bread or lentil stew

7. Prayer walk around your neighbourhood as a group

8. Game night with Christian card games or Bible trivia

9. Movie night watching a faith based film with discussion questions after

10. Group journaling session with a shared prompt
around faith or identity

11. Pottery or ceramics class as a creative act of worship referencing Jeremiah 18

12. Sunrise or sunset hike ending in group prayer

13. Worship night at someone’s house with acoustic music and candles

14. Group fast followed by a shared meal and testimony
sharing

15. Book club reading a Christian book and discussing over dinner

16. Volunteer day at a food bank or shelter as a group

17. Gratitude jar making where everyone writes what God did that month

18. Attend a Christian worship festival or concert together and let God meet you there

19. A local water lantern festival, drawing scriptures and prayers on the lanterns

20. Create a group worship playlist and spend an afternoon learning the songs together together

➡️ Share with someone you’d glorify God with 💜

If you are in a single season right now, this might be the most important thing you read today....

You have been told to "be patient".

But nobody told you what that word actually means.

In the original Greek the word translated as patience is hupomonē.

It comes from two words. Hypo meaning under. And menō meaning to remain or stay.

So it literally means to remain under.

Not to lie down.
Not to give up.
Not to go quiet and hope something eventually changes.

To stay standing under the weight without running away.

Think of a woman carrying something incredibly heavy.
She does not put it down.
She does not pretend it is not heavy.
She just keeps going.
THAT is hupomonē.

And that is what the Bible is actually asking of you in this season.

James 1:3 says the testing of your faith produces exactly that.

Which means the season that feels like it is breaking you is not a sign God forgot you. It is building something in you that could not be built any other way.

I know because I was that woman at 35.
Jobless. Back at my parents house.
Carrying a weight I did not know how to put down. And choosing every single day to remain under it instead of running.

Seven months later I met my husband.

The wait was not wasted. It was where God built the version of me that my breakthrough required.

And I believe the same is true for you.

I just wanted you to know that today.
