Our wonderful residents had a lovely Sunday out from Norwood Green Care Home as we attended the Pentecostal service at St Mary's Church, Norwood Green 🙏💜

It was a really special morning spent together in the heart of the congregation, with Reverend Dave leading such a warm and uplifting service. Our residents really enjoyed listening, reflecting, and being part of the community spirit throughout 😊

We have been keeping both body and mind moving at Norwood Green Care Home with some relaxing chair yoga sessions last week 😊

Our wonderful residents really enjoyed the gentle stretches and calming moments together, proving you do not need to get down on the floor to enjoy a bit of movement and feel the benefits 💜

The fun continued when MadBess, also known as Jason, filled our home with music and plenty of old classics. Before long, everyone was singing along, having a dance and enjoying the memories that the songs brought back 🎶

What a lovely day celebrating Robert’s 74th birthday here at Norwood Green Care Home 💜

From singing and dancing to a spot of gardening and even a fun little photo shoot, Robert spent the day doing the things he enjoys most, surrounded by friendly faces and plenty of smiles. It was wonderful to see everyone joining in to make his birthday feel extra special 🎉

Happy 74th birthday, Robert! We hope your day was every bit as lovely as you are 😊

Today brought plenty of smiles to Norwood Green Care Home as our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely session with Daniela from VIE 💜

From singing along to the old favourites to joining in with gentle chair exercises and quizzes, there was such a happy buzz around the room. It was one of those afternoons where everyone got involved in their own way, and our residents were smiling from start to finish 😊

There is never a dull moment at Norwood Green Care Home , and we have been making the most of lots of fun together recently 😊

Another visit from one of our favourite singers, Juan from CareHomeActivities.co.uk, had everyone smiling, singing along, and enjoying a little boogie to some well loved classics. He really has become part of the Norwood Green family, and our wonderful residents always love putting in their special song requests 🎤💜

Alongside the fantastic live music, we had a visit from our lovely hairdresser, leaving everyone feeling fresh, fabulous, and full of smiles. We always think it is the little moments, good company, and shared laughs that make the best days.

Norwood Green Care Home was feeling extra relaxed today as our ladies enjoyed a lovely pamper session together 💜

There were plenty of smiles as everyone settled in for a bit of gentle self care, chatting with friends and enjoying being looked after by our wonderful team. It was one of those afternoons where everything felt calm, unhurried, and full of laughter in between 😊

A really special treat for our residents, and they certainly deserved every moment of it 🌷

Norwood Green Care Home has been celebrating International Nurses Day this week with a few little surprises for our amazing nursing team 💜

There were smiles all round as gifts bags and mugs were handed out, along with plenty of appreciation for the kindness, patience, and support our nurses bring to the home every single day. It was lovely seeing everyone proudly holding up their treats together 😊

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful nurses for everything you do for our residents and their families. We are very lucky to have you 🌷

We made the most of the sunshine today and spent some lovely time together out in the garden here at Norwood Green Care Home 💜

With sunhats on and sun cream at the ready, our wonderful residents got stuck into a gentle bit of gardening, preparing the soil and chatting away as we went. There was something so calming about being outdoors, feeling the warmth on our faces and getting our hands in the earth.

It was one of those simple afternoons that just felt good for the soul, full of fresh air, laughter and quiet moments together. We’re already looking forward to seeing everything start to grow 🌱

April didn’t feel like one big moment across our homes, but lots of smaller ones and that’s what made it so special 💜

There were Easter crafts, feasts, time spent outside as the weather picked up, and plenty of conversations sparked along the way. We also took time to recognise Autism Acceptance Week and Parkinson’s Awareness Week, creating space to learn, reflect and support one another.

St George’s Day brought a bit of fun and familiarity too, with simple touches that made people smile 🏴

It’s these everyday moments that shape life in our homes, not just the celebrations, but the time spent together in between.

A lovely day spent with Irene at Norwood Green Care Home 💜

We enjoyed some gentle one to one time together in her room, where Irene spent time with her doll and a sensory fidget book. She was so curious, exploring each page with care, and there was a real sense of calm as she held her doll close.
Doll therapy can be so comforting, often bringing a sense of reassurance and familiarity, and it was lovely to see Irene so settled and content.

We also shared some special moments chatting and reminiscing, with a few smiles as happy memories came back. With music playing softly in the background, it wasn’t long before we were having a little sing along together.

A simple, peaceful time, but one that meant so much 💜
