It was a busy start to the week at Norwood Green Care Home ! 🌟

Our wonderful residents enjoyed some one to one activities, putting their coordination and maths skills to the test. There was plenty of concentration, encouragement and a bit of friendly teamwork along the way.

Then it was time for a lipstick morning! 💄 Our ladies had fun choosing their favourite shades, trying something a little different and having a good old chat and giggle together. A lovely way to spend the morning 💜

We were delighted to welcome Juan from CarehomeActivities back to Norwood Green Care Home for another afternoon of classic tunes! 🎶

Our wonderful residents enjoyed clapping along and singing to some much loved favourites. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the music together 💜

We made the most of the sunshine with a lovely Mocktail Day here at Norwood Green Care Home 🍹💜

Our residents enjoyed trying a couple of refreshing options, including Tart Cherry and Golden Sunshine, which went down a treat on a warm day. There were lots of smiles, a few favourites picked, and plenty of relaxed chats as everyone cooled down together.

It turned into such a simple but enjoyable moment, with good company and something a little different to sip on 😊

There’s been lots of one to one time at Norwood Green lately, and our residents have been really enjoying it 😊

From peg challenges to colour sorting and little games in between, it’s been lovely to see everyone getting involved in their own way. Some have turned it into a bit of friendly competition, while others have simply enjoyed the moment and the company 💜

These quieter activities often bring out the biggest smiles, and it’s been such a joy watching our residents relax, focus and have a good laugh along the way.

Busy Thursdays are always full of activity at Norwood Green Care Home 😊💜

Louise had a wonderfully busy day, helping to set the lunch table before getting creative with some tissue art and enjoying a relaxing sensory fidget activity.

Meanwhile, Joan joined in with our group scavenger hunt, where residents searched high and low for all sorts of items around our local area. A little friendly competition soon crept in as everyone tried to spot the most objects, making it a fun afternoon for all!

Our wonderful residents at Norwood Green Care Home had a lovely time getting creative as we celebrated the International Day of Friendship by making colourful friendship bracelets together 💜

There were plenty of smiles as everyone chose their colours, shared ideas and created bracelets that were as unique as the friendships they represent. It was a wonderful way to spend time together and celebrate the special connections that make our home such a happy place 😊

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

It has been a busy week at Norwood Green Care Home with a variety of activities for our wonderful residents to enjoy💜

Our manicure sessions left everyone feeling pampered, while Father Peter from St Anselm's Catholic Church Southall joined us for our monthly Catholic Mass, a special time for reflection and togetherness.

Our residents also took part in sensory activities using tactile boards, exploring different textures while keeping their hands active and engaged 😊
