Free From Skincare Awards Home of the Europe-wide Free From Skincare Awards (2012–25), celebrating natural, or allergy-friendly, or 'free from' skincare and haircare. On hiatus in 2026.

Returning 2027. Our page focuses on natural, organic and 'free from' skincare, which is free from some or all of the chemicals and additives which concern some cosmetics consumers for health or ethical reasons - such as petrochemicals, SLS, SLES, artificial perfume, dimethicone, MI, alcohol, gluten, nuts and so on. We also cover news in skin health, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, urticaria, rosacea and suncare.

We're looking to expand our pool of reviewers, both for The Beauty Testers, and for future Awards!
We're particularly interested in beauty reviewers and testers aged 20–50, especially those with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick 5 and 6) and those with problem skin conditions. UK-based only. Get in touch with us at our online form if this sounds like you!

Announcement: As you may have heard if you are on our mailing lists, after 14 years, we feel the time is right to evolve the Awards in new directions, and have decided that 2026 will be a period of taking stock and thinking ahead. We have various ideas — perhaps focusing more on problem skin conditions — and we’re very happy to hear others! If you have suggestions for what we should be planning and working towards for 2027, we would be delighted to hear them. Although the Awards will not run in 2026, do bear in mind that our team of 100 testers remain available to trial and give feedback on your prototype or finished products as part of our new Beauty Testers Service. More info on that at our new website below. In the meantime, thank you to all brands who have supported us over the years, and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!
