***Meet Claire and read below how Slimming World has changed her life!****

Claire Barker - I joined Slimming World on the 7th of July 2016 after my jeans split on a family holiday for my brothers 18th birthday.
I literally wanted the ground to swallow me up but put my jokey face on and tried laughing it off whilst I was crying inside.

I was a size 18/20 trying to kid myself that I was a size 16/18, the tumble drier had shrunk my clothes, t that's why they were getting tight right, but in reality I was just getting bigger.

With my daughter's 18th birthday coming up in June 2017 I made the decision that I was not going to be the size I was anymore. I didn't want to be hiding from the camera as I had been, I wanted to be in the pics with my daughter looking and feeling great.

I set my Target of a 4 stone loss by the 17th of June 2017 as that's when my daughter's surprise birthday party was.

I reached my Target of a 4 stone loss in 10 months and felt amazing. I'd gone from the quiet person sat in the back at group to the one that was always offering support to others. Slimming World really had changed my life for the better.

I'm now almost 2 years into my journey, I'm a size 10/12, a Target member and now a Slimming World Consultant For me it wasn't just about the weight I'd lost it was also about the life I'd gained. 💞

That was why I went along to the opportunity event and I can honestly say I've never looked back.

Now I'm doing a job I love, helping others not only lose weight but grow in confidence too and I'm managing to do it around my busy family life.
