🏆🎬 A VERY SPECIAL PENGUIN ACHIEVEMENT! 🐧♥️

Our very own Louis has made it to the final four of the BAFTA Young Presenters Award 2026! 🎤✨

Selected from hundreds of entries across the UK, Louis was one of just four finalists in the 10–14 category, following an entry inspired by his work with Brentford Penguins and the theme “This Is My Place.”

What makes this even more special is seeing how much confidence Louis has developed through Penguins. From presenting and interviewing his fellow Penguins to finding his voice and taking on new challenges,he’s showing just how far opportunity can take you. 🐧♥️

FIRST PAYCHECK! 💛💷🐧

There’s been a very exciting delivery to Penguin HQ… our Little Yellow Van Assistants have started receiving their very first paychecks! 🚐✨

We’ve been so lucky to receive some brilliant videos from families capturing the moment their Penguins received theirs, and although we can’t fit every video into one Reel, we wanted to share one very special moment with you…

That feeling of holding your first paycheck is pretty special, and for our Penguins, it represents so much more than the money inside.

It represents opportunity, responsibility, confidence, independence and being recognised for a job well done.

A huge congratulations to all of our Little Yellow Van Assistants. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you! 🐧👏

And a massive thank you to everyone who sent us their videos, we’ve loved seeing the reactions! 💛

COACH AL TAKES TO THE PITCH! 💛🐧

What better way to celebrate the return of the Little Yellow Van than with Coach Al in front of the Brentford crowd at half-time! 🚐⚽️

In this special interview with , Coach Al talks all things Brentford Penguins, from the return of our Little Yellow Van and our brand-new merchandise, to the exciting plans we have in store for the year ahead. 🐧💛

From our handmade beeswax candles made using wax from our very own beehives 🐝🕯️, to our very limited-edition Penguins scarves 🧣, the Little Yellow Van is becoming so much more than a place to grab a treat.

It’s a place where our Penguins can learn new skills, build confidence, take on responsibility and showcase what they can achieve. 💛

And this is only the beginning…

We’ve got some big plans for the Penguins over the next year, and we can’t wait to take you along for the journey. 👀🐧

And this time… we’ve had a little makeover! 👀✨

We’re back at the Gtech Community Stadium today for the first game of the season as Brentford take on Tottenham Hotspur! ⚽️🐝

COME CANDLE MAKING WITH CHARLIE! 🐧💛

This week, Charlie stepped up as our very own Penguin presenter, microphone in hand, as he takes us behind the scenes at our latest candle-making workshop! 🎤🎥

With Charlie leading the way, we get to see the Penguins learning the process from start to finish, from melting the beeswax to pouring, moulding and creating their very own finished candles. 🐝➡️🕯️

And there’s something extra special about these candles… they’re made using beeswax from the Brentford Penguins’ very own beehives!

It’s not just about making candles. It’s about learning new skills, trying something different, working together and building confidence along the way. 💛

And the best bit? These handmade candles will be heading to the Little Yellow Van when we return to the Gtech Community Stadium for the new season! 🚐⚽️

FROM OUR BEES TO THE LITTLE YELLOW VAN 💛

The Penguins have been busy behind the scenes this week, getting ready for the return of the Little Yellow Van at the Gtech Community Stadium! 🚐⚽️

Our Penguins and Empresses have been learning how to make their very own beeswax candles using wax from the Brentford Penguins’ very own beehives 🐝 🕯️turning something made by our bees into something handmade by our Penguins.

Coach Al gives us the lowdown in today’s Reel… although we’re not quite sure where he got his £60 a candle pricing from! 😂💷

Don’t worry, you won’t need to remortgage the house to buy one! 😆

Our handmade beeswax candles will be available at the Little Yellow Van for a much more reasonable price when we return for the first game of the season on 22nd August.

Come and support the Penguins, pick up a candle and take home a little piece of what we’ve been building in our community. 💛🐧

🐧💛 The Little Yellow Van is heading to the Brentford Canal Festival this Saturday!

Come and find us on Brentford High Street between 12pm–3pm and support the incredible Brentford Penguins.

We’ll have:

🍩 A delicious selection of doughnuts

⚽🍬 A selection of World Cup themed sweets

🎡 The chance to spin our wheel and win prizes, including Brentford Penguins socks and signed Brentford FC team photos!

🕯️ And most importantly… our brand new handmade beeswax candles, available from just £5.

The candles were handmade by the Penguins themselves during a recent candle making workshop, where they learned new skills, got creative and built confidence along the way. Every candle is unique and made with pride by our amazing team.

Whether you’re stopping by for a sweet treat, trying your luck on the wheel, or picking up one of our beautiful candles, we’d love to see you there ♥️
