The APPG on endometriosis has launched an inquiry into endometriosis in the workplace. This is your opportunity to have your say and share your experience of living with endometriosis and how it’s impacted your career.

This could include things like best practice, so if your employer has done something really great to support you, that’s exactly what the APPG wants to hear to inspire other employers to do the same. Or if you’ve had a negative experience, or you’ve had to leave the workplace, or faced challenges in accessing the support you need, this will inspire MPs to understand why they need to make change.

The call for evidence will close on Friday 24th July 2026 and both employees and employers can fill out the survey.

On the next 11 slides, the same image is faded in the background. Text on each slide reads:
2. “What is Walk for Endo? Walk for endo is a fundraising challenge where you walk 9,000+ steps a day throughout July and collect sponsorship.”
3. “Can I start the challenge at any time? We will be encouraging everyone to start their challenge on 1st July and continue throughout the month. However, if you are joining the challenge later or you have missed a few days, you can continue into August or make up the difference with extra steps throughout July.”
4. “What if 9000+ steps a day is too much for me? Don’t worry! If you can’t do your steps one day, why not nominate someone to do them for you and donate. You could get a group together and do a relay with you each taking it in turns to walk on different days. If you need longer to complete your challenge that’s ok too!”
5. “How do I keep track of my steps? Most phones have built in step counters or you can use a fitbit or pedometer to keep a track. If you do have a fitbit, you can link it to your Just Giving page so your supporters can keep track of your progress.”
6. “How do I get my fundraising pack? Your fundraising pack will be automatically sent you one hour after registration. If you haven’t received it please email [email protected]
7. “How do I set up my JustGiving page? Visit www.justgiving.com/campaign/walkforendo2026 and click ‘start fundraising’. It will take you through step-by-step to set up your own fundraising page.

Did you catch Emma Barnett’s BBC Documentary Fighting Endometriosis’ on Monday?

Everyone at Endometriosis UK was incredibly moved by this documentary - which highlighted some of the issues we have been campaigning on for years: reducing diagnosis times, improving access to treatment, and calling for investment in research.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to and the for producing this film, as well as all the incredible women who took part. The film will no doubt highlight to millions why this must become a Government priority, so nobody is robbed of the future they deserve.

You can watch the documentary on BBC iPlayer. Please be aware that the film does contain scenes that you may find distressing – including topics on fertility and su***de. Our support services are here for you if you need them 💛

We are more determined than ever to come together to take steps towards driving down diagnosis times, improving access to care and expanding support for those with endometriosis, and we hope you’ll join us.

If 9,000+ steps feels like too much, you can adjust the distance to suit your needs and take each day as it comes.

Happy Volunteers Week!

1-7 June is Volunteers week, a week to recognise and celebrate the essential work of volunteers across the UK. Today, our CEO Emma and Trustees Liz, Catherine and Jenny share this message 💛

Here at Endometriosis UK, volunteers are truly at the heart of all we do. From running our peer support network, to raising awareness with the media and supporting at events, we truly couldn’t do what we do without them.

The majority of our volunteers have endometriosis themselves and their dedication to supporting others with the disease inspires us every day. This week and every single week of the year, we could not be more grateful for those who give their time to keep Endometriosis UK going.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Please join us in sharing some love for our incredible volunteers in the comments!
