CLOSE OF BUSINESS + MOVING HOME SALE ✨

Those of you who have followed me for some time will know that I used to sell vintage bridal alongside my bespoke silk hand embroidered ribbons & other bespoke bridal services.

On closing down this side of the business earlier this year I took a much needed health/life break (of which I’ll admit I’m still not fully back from, BUT still here nonetheless dipping in and grateful to continue working on your ribbon orders until I’m ready to be more fully present once again and refocus on growing ALT in its bespoke direction amongst other ventures)

During this break I moved all my vintage stock over to my personal Depop profile and am now readying myself to move for the second time in six months.

This will be my third home in a year! Which sounds a lot but it was all meant to be and has been good for me which ultimately means it’s going to be good for business and a strong return once I’m settled in.

Did You Know?

ALT now offers extras you can add to your bespoke ribbon order? Like this extra beading option for when you want a little something more ✨

You can choose to add singular bead types to one of our monogram, monogram + date or mini quote smaller ribbons. (It’ll come with a couple of beads depending on your chosen design. Think dotting the I’s and a scattering at the end)

Or go more decorative on our luxe ribbons by adding a mix of glass, crystal and pearl beads in complimentary or contrast colours.

Happy Two Year Anni To A Lover’s Thread First Real Vintage + Bespoke Bride B + Her Love S 💗✨

Such a gorgeous, unique and fun London wedding these two had after multiple postponements and changes. Will never forget working on this first vintage rework and bespoke embellishment number. The 80s sheer floral net puff sleeves dress of dreams 💭

Always so much gratitude to B for being my first bride and in lockdown too! 💗

Also confetti, rainbow florals, a Mabel dog, a prawn and an egg anyone!? LOVED embroidering and beading such an individual collection of meaningful symbols, sayings, wedding dates (to tie their civil ceremony with their main celebrations) and colourful extra personal details 🍳✨🦐🌈🐶
