CPR in a Baby: Every Parent Should Know This
If a baby is unresponsive and not breathing normally, act immediately.
Call 999 and begin CPR. Give 5 initial rescue breaths, then give chest compressions at 100–120 per minute, pressing about one-third of the chest depth (around 4 cm).
Continue CPR with 30 compressions to 2 breaths if you are alone, and use an AED as soon as available, following its instructions.
This is one skill you hope never to need—but knowing it could save a baby's life.
