Gooey tip for my fellow c-section mamas. Grab yourself a tube of Pawpaw Ointment. It costs practically nothing, looks seductively 'pragmatic' on the bathroom shelf, and works better than anything else I've tried. I don't mind the scar but it helps with dryness and the scritch. Breaking News: the little man finished his first full meal outside of the beloved bewbmilk!! A succulent mash of baby cereal (Iron fortified), greek yoghurt, apple and prune mush. A teeny triumph for his little 9 month old self (and 50 someth'n mum).

Judgey caveat: Pip, Clara, Neil, Bindi, Kathy, Ian, Richard, Adam, Shannon, Tanya and Bridget, all parents, have either whipped up gourmet delights for Hugo, fed him and/ or provided experienced advice. But I/we have tried all food types. He's just not that interested in viands yet. Of course, as a foodie I have been stricken so asked the Doc (legitimate Doc not Google Doc) who thought me a total mum-muppet. Bub's is very happy and growing healthily, so we are an achieving little household of 2 today.

Weekend trip to cute Cranbrook. A cute cafe with drippy hot chocolate that shut down my metabolism for 8 hours. Breakfast was abandoned. Bubs was indirectly knackered.

A new segment for me as my mind was boggled at the huge amount of baby products to buy. In my many searches, I stumbled upon Baby Wigs. Yup, someone created clip-on wigs for bald babies. So many questions unanswered here. 👶

I'm asking for my 9 embryos on ice who might be confused by this hairy welcome.
