Today we celebrate the social workers who bring strength, compassion and clarity to families facing serious illness.
In palliative care, social workers support emotional, social and practical needs from the moment of diagnosis. Helping families navigate decisions, easing distress and ensuring care remains dignified and person-centred.
They are essential members of interdisciplinary teams, advocating for patients and standing with families through some of life’s hardest moments.
