How I changed my confidence, it’s not what you think🌷
It wasn’t beauty treatments, losing weight or having more money or the perfect life.
For years I thought confidence came from the way I looked 🙄
Then when I had everything stripped away from me, my health, my dignity, my looks! I realised this was not the case.
When I started protecting my energy, nourishing myself instead of punishing, working out because I love my body, keeping small promises to myself, spending time with people who lift me up! This is when the most confident version of me appeared.
I began to trust myself again, my body started to soften, my mind softened and life just felt lighter.
The confidence I thought came from external validation, I actually created internally🙏
That’s not to say I wake up feeling confident everyday, I am human too.
But I no longer wake up feeling disconnected from myself. Midlife has taught me more about confidence than my younger years ever did.
It’s no longer about perfection for me, it’s about feeling strong, feeling healthy, feeling aligned and feeling like me again.
That changes everything ✨
