Alzheimer’s Society Carers Information and Support Programme (CrISP) aims to improve the knowledge, skills and understanding of people caring for someone living with dementia by providing effective support and up to date relevant information.

💙 Older people across Derry and Strabane are invited to come along for conversation, connection, and companionship at the first “Chat-Tea Library” event taking place in Derry Central Library on Friday 19 June from 11.00am to 12.30pm.

☕ Free refreshments will be provided.

This special event is being delivered as a collaboration between the Western Health and Social Care Trust Multi-Disciplinary Team, Libraries NI, and the Age Friendly Programme, Derry City and Strabane District Council.

The “Chat-Tea Library”, which follows on from the successful “Chat Tea Train”, has been created to offer people aged 60 years and over a welcoming space to meet others, enjoy a friendly chat, and spend time together over a cuppa in a relaxed and supportive environment.

📍 Open to all people aged 60+ from across the city.

📅 The closing date for registration with your GP Social Work Team is 15 June 2026.
