A little update 👇🏼

Mum returned home and was admitted into Christie’s in Manchester. She was in unbearable pain when she went in, but the nurses have been so lovely and have looked after her very well. The specialist care team were called in to help her and the pain has now eased.

Due to Covid, we are not allowed to go and visit Mum. I can’t really explain how upsetting that is, especially at such an hard and emotional time ☹️ We understand they have to keep the hospital safe, but it’s so hard to watch all the crowds at Wimbledon & Wembley, yet we can’t see our critically ill Mum, Daughter, Wife & Nanny 💗

& we are still trying to pay the bill from the emergency hospital visits in Mexico as the insurance company have not paid out. It’s such a hard time & nothing seems to be going our way at the moment.

It’s been a really really tough weekend. Hope4Cancer have told Mum to return back home to make herself comfortable as the cancer is growing so fast and she was admitted back into the ICU in Mexico on Friday.

As you all know, the insurance company won’t pay out for these hospital expenses so we still have a lot of money to raise to get Mum home to her family 💗

⬇️ UPDATE ⬇️ PLEASE SHARE, PLEASE DONATE 🙏🏼

Mum has now been in Mexico for a week, but it hasn’t gone as we hoped it would. She received 3 days of treatment at Hope 4 Cancer.. but on Monday she had to be rushed into a&e in Mexico.

She has been very very poorly & the doctors over there have been working so hard to find out what the problem is. What we know so far is that she has another infection and kidney stones. However, she has been passing blood and they haven’t found the cause of this as yet. They are doing more tests today and this will hopefully give us some more info.

To add to the stress, Mum’s insurance company have now said they will NOT be covering her hospital expenses!!!!!!!!!! This was after they had previously called to say she would be covered!!! 🤬🤬 We know this is going to cost thousands more pounds & it doesn’t seem likely that she will be discharged any time soon, meaning the bill is only increasing.

All we wanted was for Mum to get the treatment she so desperately needs, but it really is all up in the air now. Especially as we are now faced with another massive bill.

Mum has arrived !!! 🏥

Yesterday was very tough for mum as the long journey really took its toll and she was feeling very unwell when she first arrived at Hope 4 Cancer. 🤍

However, they gave her some strong pain relief and hopefully she has begun her treatment today! (This is what they were hoping for, but she is not allowed to take her phone into the treatment centre so I will be updated about this later on tonight)

All fingers are crossed 🤞🏼✨
