Great girls night out - Stockport marketplace

Great Friday night out in Stockport. Started off on the market place as it was
Had an excellent IPA from and listened to some live music on the indoor market. Then had tasty burritos and cocktails in - always a great choice. Followed by games at and a few more beers.

Loads of fun, great food and drinks, great vibe and not too expensive.

Now I’ve stopped the sweat is even worse … noooo. Sweaty and no doubt stinky.

My hair has been battered over the hot summer and was looking so brassy, luckily ✂️ 🩷 sorted it all out for me and now I feel great. What a difference having a haircut can make 🥰

If you know a menopausal women who is struggling with symptoms, be careful how you approach conversations regarding nutritional advice, especially if you are going to include words like fruit, veg and milk. It probably isn’t going to go down well! You would be better off saying nothing or offering a cold glass of wine or a big chunk of chocolate.

And when I say quiet, I mean quiet and I don’t know why. There are fabulous champagne houses to admire, the best champagne 🍾 in the world to drink, walks, good coffee ☕️ … what’s not to love. Plus, the champagne tasting sessions are really reasonably priced.

Maybe a destination for your next weekend trip 🇫🇷

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Annecy and wish I’d stayed longer than five nights. Having the car to explore meant days out up mountains and on the beach plus time walking around around the old town and on the lake.

The traffic is heavy getting in and out of Annecy so be prepared for delays. The old town is also very busy, so if you don’t like a lot of people, this may not be the place for you.
