🕊️Jak’s World Charity: Community Events – Dying Matters Awareness Week🕊️
As part of Dying Matters Awareness Week 2026 (4–10 May), Jak’s World is offering a series of gentle, community-based opportunities to come together, share experiences, and open up conversations around grief, death, and dying.
Bereavement affects us all, yet it’s often hard to talk about. These events create safe, supportive spaces to connect, reflect, and feel less alone.
What to Expect:
Safe, welcoming opportunities to talk about grief, death, and dying
Informal conversations over a cup of tea
Option to share your story—or simply listen
Gentle discussions around last wishes, wills, and funeral arrangements
Sharing of helpful resources and support
