Last week I visited a gentleman in his 90s who’d gradually stopped enjoying conversations because he couldn’t hear properly.

A local patient contacted me because they were struggling to hear conversations and found themselves turning the TV up louder than usual.

Naturally, they were worried they might need hearing aids.

After a simple ear examination, the cause became clear…

🟢 It wasn’t permanent hearing loss.
