40 Things I’m Grateful For Before 40 Day 21

Today, I’m grateful for the ability to laugh at myself and not take life too seriously.

Because adulthood has taught me one thing: not everything deserves stress! 😂
Some plans will fail, mistakes will happen, and there will definitely be moments that make you wonder, “What on earth was I thinking?” 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

I’m learning to give myself grace, laugh at the things I can’t change, learn the lesson and keep moving.

Sometimes the best response is simply, “Well that didn’t go according to plan!” i lsugh 😂 And then you carry on.

Life is serious enough already.

I’m grateful I can still find reasons to laugh even when the joke is on me.

I’m Grateful for Difficult Seasons

This might sound strange, but today I’m grateful for some of the difficult seasons I've experienced.

I wouldn't want to relive them, but I can't deny what they taught me.

They showed me my strength they revealed people's true colours. they deepened my faith.

And they taught me what really matters.

Some lessons only make sense when you look backwards.

Today, I'm grateful I made it through.

40 Things I’m Grateful For Before 40 Day 18.

Today, I’m grateful for the gift of another day.

There was a time when birthdays were simply about getting older, cutting cake and celebrating.

But the closer I get to 40, the more I understand that growing older is actually a privilege.

Every morning I wake up is another opportunity to love, laugh, learn, forgive, try again and make memories.

So today, I’m simply grateful to be here. 🙏🏾

40 Things I’m Grateful For Before 40 Day 17

Today, I’m grateful for the journey itself.

When I started writing these, I thought I was simply counting 40 things I’m thankful for.

But this challenge is reminding me just how much life has already given me.

The good days, the difficult ones,the people, the lessons,the opportunities,the closed doors,the answered prayers , the unanswered prayers.

All of it has contributed to the woman approaching 40.

And if these first chapters of my life have taught me anything, it’s this that Life doesn’t have to be perfect for you to have plenty to be grateful for. ❤️

Chapter 40, I’m coming! 🥂🎂
