🌟 OUR NEW PATIENT PORTAL IS NOW LIVE 🌟

We’re pleased to introduce the new KL Health Care Patient Portal.

The portal gives our patients a convenient way to view their upcoming appointments and look back at previous appointments.

There is no separate registration process. If you have made an appointment with us, you will be able to access the portal provided the personal details we hold for you are complete and correct. These details are used to verify your identity and keep your information secure.

Although the portal is live, our admin team is currently working through our patient files to ensure everyone’s information is accurate and up to date. This will help patients successfully complete the verification process when accessing the portal.

You do not need to do anything at the moment. If we are missing any information, a member of our admin team may contact you by email and ask you to confirm or provide the required details.

Using the portal is completely optional. If you receive an email from us but do not wish to use it, there is no need to reply.

💛 A heartfelt thank you from KL Health Care 💛

We would like to thank all our patients for their patience, understanding and kind well wishes for Kim over the past few weeks.

What was expected to be a routine procedure turned out to be more involved than originally anticipated. Unfortunately, this had a direct impact on Kim’s recovery time and, despite our best efforts to plan ahead, some appointment cancellations were unavoidable.

We are pleased to let you know that Kim is now back at work. Today, we have focused on completing the home visits affected during this time, and we will be back in the clinic tomorrow.

All affected appointments have now been prioritised and rearranged, and our online booking system is officially back open.

**Clinic Update**

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel all KL Health Care clinics and appointments taking place between Monday 27th July and Friday 31st July 2026.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate that many of you will have been looking forward to your appointment.

We are currently contacting all affected patients individually by telephone and email to rearrange their appointments as soon as we are able. If you have an appointment booked during this period, please keep an eye on your phone and email, as a member of our team will be in touch.

At this stage, we are hopeful that clinics will resume from Tuesday 4th August 2026. Should anything change, we will provide a further update as soon as possible.

But is everything sounding as clear as it should?

Perhaps the commentary seems a little muffled. Maybe conversations are becoming harder to follow. Or you’ve noticed the television volume gradually creeping higher.

There can be several reasons for changes in hearing, and earwax build-up is one possible cause.

If you have been meaning to sort your blocked ears, muffled hearing or ear discomfort, this is your reminder to book.

Summer often gets busy with holidays, family plans, events and days out. The last thing you want is to be struggling to hear clearly or feeling uncomfortable.

At KL Health Care in Market Drayton, we use a video otoscope to carry out a full ear assessment. You can see inside your ear on screen while our nurse practitioner explains what they can see and advises whether microsuction wax removal is needed.

For patients who are prone to wax build-up, we usually recommend a review every 6 months. If you book your 6-month review on the same day after treatment, your video otoscope assessment will be free for peace of mind.

If there is no wax, there is no charge. If wax does need removing, you receive 20% off.
