We’ve been keeping as cool as we can in this heat! With regular cool drinks, and an ice cream station most days!

We’ve still enjoyed games, just keeping it low key. We’ve enjoyed an entertainer, and a nice walk to the church (before the heat came)

PART 2: of a very busy week at Fir Villa.

We’ve celebrated another birthday with flowers, nail painting, cake and a sing-along!

A handful of our residents have been helping Steph on a big up cycling project! We’re giving our benches a good spruce up in time for our upcoming summer fair in August.

Joining us this week was also Stevie P 🎤 which our residents always love!

We’ve enjoyed the garden, whiteboard games and did some baking in the kitchen too!

Now it’s time for a well earned cuppa & a nap 💤

PART 1: We’ve had a busy few weeks here at Fir Villa, we’re bringing you part one of just a handful of photos.

First we celebrated carers week by making a card and buying sweets as a thank you to our staff! Steph, one of our lifestyle coordinators painted a new blackboard up for special thank you’s & added some colour to the halls.

We said a Happy Birthday to one of our lovely residents 🎈spent some time outside, read some postcards from friends of Fir Villa & had choir practice as well as an acoustic singalong session!

What an amazing night at the “Stars of Social Care Awards. Congratulations to Milly and Lisa for being nominated as finalists in what is a national care awards. Care Homes from the whole of the Uk. What a fantastic achievement as Lisa achieved “The Highly Commended Award for “Care Home Nutrition”- her second award in 2 months…. So proud of all we do at Fir Villa 👏👏👏
