🎶 What a wonderful day of fun, laughter and dancing! 💃🕺

Danny Dukebox had our residents thoroughly entertained today with some fantastic upbeat songs. There was so much laughter, singing and dancing — what a joy it was to see everyone having such a brilliant time! 🎤🎵❤️

We also had a very special visit from Maddie today, and she was absolutely loved by all our residents. 🥰 It was lovely to see so many happy faces as everyone enjoyed spending time with her.

And Maddie didn’t just come for a visit… we even had her hard at work with a paintbrush! 🎨😂 A little budding artist in the making!

Days like today are what make our home so special — filled with music, friendship, creativity and plenty of smiles. ❤️✨

We’ve been busy as usual there at Fir Villa!

Steph has kept everyone busy while she was away, and came back to host another successful art workshop, which lots of residents enjoyed!

We’ve played a real life version of memory mastermind, had brain exercises, singalongs, and even a toddler-led balloon party which the residents loved!

Izzy is always willing to step up and help cover shifts when needed, and she brings such a positive energy to every shift she works. Her ability to keep morale high, support her teammates, and make everyone feel part of the team doesn’t go unnoticed.

It’s safe to say the staff absolutely love having Izzy on shift! ❤️

🌟 What a wonderful week we’ve had at Fir Villa! 🌟

It’s been a week full of fun, creativity and some very special moments. 🌙✨ We were lucky enough to experience the excitement of the eclipse together, which was a fantastic opportunity to stop and enjoy something truly amazing.

We also welcomed a wonderful artist who came in to give us an art lesson 🎨. Everyone had the chance to get creative, try something new and enjoy expressing themselves through art.

And to top it all off, we had a very special visit from Kelly the singer 🎤🎶! Kelly brought lots of energy and joy, and it was lovely to see everyone joining in and enjoying the music.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this such a memorable week at Fir Villa. Here’s to more fun, laughter and special moments ahead! ❤️

SEASIDE DAY! ☀️🌊👙⛱️

We’ve had a wonderful day ‘by the seaside’ today as our residents have been busy! We’ve been:

- Crafting a beach scene
- eating fish and chips (with the seagulls!) and ice cream 🍦
- playing beach games in the garden
- made sand castles
- made sand art
- Had 2 tortoise 🐢 come and visit us!
- dipped our toes in the pool
- listened to the beach boys and lovely calming beach sounds

We’re finishing the day with a chilled film in the cool lounge with a milkshake 🥤

It’s been another busy week at fir Villa so far! In the last few days we’ve;

Played Bingo, Water painted, Had a men’s hour playing dominoes and reading, doing crosswords, word searches, mobility exercises and cognitive games and whiteboard quizzes.

We’ve had our hair dresser and nails done today! And a resident has finally finished a sewing project which shes very proud of and hung up in her room.
