Indian Head Massage is one of those treatments people often book because it sounds relaxing… and then leave wondering why they didn’t try it sooner.

It’s not just about the scalp and hair. It can help release tension held in the shoulders, neck and jaw, calm a busy mind, improve sleep and leave you feeling lighter and more grounded afterwards.

So many of us carry stress without even realising it, especially in the upper body. Taking an hour to properly switch off can make such a difference both physically and mentally.

I’ve been focusing on the crafts side but having seen it’s International Tabletop Day , I’m reminded how much fun board games, RPG- DnD etc and card games are. (I’ve only played DnD but know there’s sooo many more)

I’ve got the perfect space at the shop for small groups who don’t quite want a big venue but are after a relaxed cosy, equipped space for hosting games time or time crafting and painting miniatures for games.

Some days wellbeing looks like meditation, journalling and early nights.
Other days it’s just remembering to slow down for five minutes, take a proper breath and check in with yourself.

You don’t have to “earn” rest by burning yourself out first.

Your body is constantly communicating with you — tension, headaches, overwhelm, exhaustion, feeling disconnected — it all means something. Giving yourself time to pause, reset and recharge isn’t a luxury, it’s part of looking after yourself properly.

Whatever today looks like for you, try to make space for one thing that helps you feel calm, grounded or cared for. Even something small makes a difference.

I think one of the biggest benefits of attending sound baths regularly is giving yourself permission to properly slow down.

Life can feel so busy and overstimulating all the time, and many of us spend most of our days in a constant state of stress without even realising it. Taking that time out for yourself, even just once a month, can really help you feel calmer, more grounded and more connected to yourself again.

Some people notice they sleep better afterwards, some feel emotionally lighter, and others just enjoy having an hour where they don’t need to do anything except rest.

You don’t need any experience with meditation or wellness either. You simply come in, get comfortable, relax and let the sounds help your mind and body switch off for a while.

It’s such a simple but powerful way to support your wellbeing.

My new ASMR Light Touch Therapy treatment is fast becoming my most popular treatment to provide to my clients.
