Happy Easter.
Mindfulness encourages us to fully engage with our current reality instead of yearning for a better, easier, or different situation. It teaches us to embrace the present moment. Aside from finding a degree of calm during challenging situations, the overriding topic I've discussed with clients these past few weeks is understanding and accepting that what is happening today or this month or during this phase of their life is not their whole life. Helping them to see that whatever is going on right now that is bringing them down or causing anxiety or upset, is not how it will always be, because our lives are constantly changing.
Confidence, a lack of, has been a big subject too, and I wish we could bottle it and hand it out to those who need it.

It's so easy to allow a bad start, or upset, take hold of us and let it ruin our day. This is life, and this is living. Things go wrong, people say things we don't like. Brush it off, let it go, move forward. Life is not perfect, and rarely do our days go the way we would wish. Refrain from allowing these thoughts to consume your mind, let them pass.
