🩸 PART 2 OF 3: BLOOD SAMPLE

❤️ 1. Your heart creates pressure
The heart pumps blood around the body, creating pressure inside the veins.

🧪 2. The tube contains a vacuum
Blood collection tubes have lower pressure inside. When connected to the needle, this pressure difference draws blood into the tube.

🩸 3. Blood flows from high → low pressure
Higher pressure in the vein ➡️ Lower pressure in the tube = Blood flows in.

✨ It’s not magic — it’s physics!

🧪 4. Why the fill line?
The tube is designed to collect a specific volume of blood, which is important for maintaining the correct blood-to-additive ratio.

🛑 5. Why does the flow stop?
As the tube fills, the pressure difference decreases. Once the intended volume is reached, the blood stops flowing.

💡 The tube doesn’t “suck” blood indefinitely, its vacuum is designed for a specific volume.
