Jackie is one of our fantastic Team Leaders at Pembrokeshire Care and has been part of our family for over 13 years! 🏆💙

You can often find Jackie out and about in Haverfordwest, supporting our amazing clients to live independently in the comfort of their own homes. 🏡✨

Jackie began her journey with Pembrokeshire Care as a Care Worker and, through dedication, hard work, and compassion, has progressed to become a Team Leader – and a bloomin' good one she is too! 😍👏

When she's not caring for others, Jackie loves spending time with her gorgeous little spaniel puppy, Dottie 🐕‍🦺🐾, who has truly landed on her paws finding her 'fur'ever home with Jackie! ❤️

Domiciliary Care enables people to remain safe, independent, and happy in their own homes while receiving the support they need.

The role would entail visiting clients in their own home and supporting with medication, personal care and meal prep. Salary starts from £13.45 with expenses paid. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role

Elliotshill are looking for Support Workers to support our residents and clients in both a Supported Living environment and within a Residential setting. Tasks include promoting independent living, personal care, medication and day to day tasks within the Supported Living environment and within the residential environment. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.

Have you ever wondered what a day in the life of an Area Manager entails - let me try and explain....

It has been a long week for the Area Managers who look after the Operations element of Elliotshill. All of our Area Managers have progressed through the 'ranks' from Support Worker to Team Leader to Area Manager and all of our Area Managers have worked for the Company for over 5 years. They have untold knowledge of the role which they use to support and mentor the Support Workers on the ground doing their amazing role!

They support the Support Workers on the ground, they deal with queries from Stakeholders, the general public, from clients, about clients, from staff, about staff. They administer annual leave requests, rota's, health & safety, compliance on mandatory training. The team have other requests for help/guidance/support from other areas within Elliotshill such as from the team in Pembrokeshire Care, Ashdale Care Home - Pembroke, Catalyst Training and the Group HR & Finance Team!

They work long hours - sometimes having to cover shifts where sick absence has occurred, often with no notice - giving up their evenings to help where needed.
They attend regular meetings with professionals such as Social Workers, Medical Professionals, Support Agencies to name but a few!

They are the heartbeat of Head Office and we need to applaud them for their hard work and dedication to their roles.

What you don't see in this picture are our Residential Area Managers - they are usually based in the Care Home with the Support Workers, so we don't see them in the office a huge amount.
