Home education can provide so many opportunities for children outside of the school system.

There are so many different ways to learn that don’t follow traditional methods.

Well-being is something often overlooked or just a tick box for many.

If you’re already home educating, chances are the wellbeing of your child is high in your priorities.

Our home ed yoga club provides an opportunity for physical and emotional development through:

😀movement and mindfulness
😀body awareness
😀using the breath to support the body and mind
😀emotional regulation
😀Communication and collaboration
😀focus and concentration

We have a few spaces remaining on Wednesday mornings at 10am, so join our fun group today and start seeing the benefits!

To grab your child’s space, you can send me a message or find a link in the bio.

No experience is needed and certainly no expectations. Everyone welcome 4-10 yrs. 😍

Does your child find school exhausting, overwhelming or just… a lot?

They may need more than a chance to ‘calm down’. They need tools, movement, connection and a safe space to reset.

Maybe by the end of the school day, they’re holding in so much that home becomes the place where everything comes out.

Big emotions.
A busy mind.
Sensory overload.

Trouble slowing down or knowing what to do with all those feelings.
And as a parent, you may find yourself wondering, “How can I help them?”

Sometimes children don’t need us to ask them to try harder to calm down.

They need somewhere they can feel safe, understood and accepted exactly as they are.

A place where there’s no pressure to sit still, no expectation to get things ‘right’ and no need to keep up with everyone else.

Just the chance to move, breathe, explore, connect and gradually discover little ways to help their bodies and minds feel more settled. 🌿

That’s what I want to create in my SEN & Neurodivergent Children’s Yoga sessions.
Not another thing for your child to achieve.

A little pocket of time in their week where they can simply be themselves. 💛

✨ New term now open
If your child could benefit from a calm, supportive space to move, reset and build those self-regulation tools, I’d love to welcome them.

No pressure. No judgement. Just movement, connection and wellbeing, at their own pace.

September is looking a lot different for me this year!

Back to school is not a 'thing' in the way it was. My daughters are now 18 and 20.
My eldest will be heading back to Lancaster Uni on 26th September, and my youngest starting at Birmingham Uni on 19th! 🫢

Last week I had a split second moment of panic thinking "I haven't got new uniforms yet", before quickly realising I don't have to worry about those things these days. But that moment of panic still reminded me of years gone by.

A moment of "oh thank goodness thats not me anymore" to "Oh no thats not me anymore"!

Honestly, the shift in emotion is crazy!

We will have such a quiet house, and I will miss them both like crazy too.

How are you all feeling this September? What does is look and feel like now the kids have gone back to routine? or you find school days hard?
Maybe you are just starting your first year of Home Education?

I'll keep you posted as our September progresses! 😁

👂✨ Listen first. Move second.

One of the most important things I do in my children’s yoga and wellbeing classes isn’t actually teaching a yoga pose…

It’s listening to the children in front of me. 💛

Every child arrives with something different going on.

Some are ready to jump, stretch and join in with everything.
Some need a little time to settle.
Some want to chat.
Some would rather watch first.
Some need to move more.
Some need a quiet moment.
And sometimes… they just need to be silly! 🤪

And that’s OK.

There’s no pressure to “do it right”, keep up with everyone else or join in with every activity.

I meet children where they are that day and give them space to make choices, explore, have fun and discover what feels good for them.

Because when children feel heard, safe and accepted, they can begin to build confidence, trust and a stronger connection with themselves. 🌿

So yes, we stretch, breathe, move, play and create…

But we also listen. 👂💛

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can say to a child is:

“I hear you. You’re OK exactly as you are.”

🌈 Inclusive Yoga for Neurodivergent Kids 🌈

We’re so excited to be returning with a new course of sensory-friendly yoga sessions for neurodivergent children, including autistic children and children with ADHD.

✨ Sessions will combine gentle yoga, fun games, breathing exercises, and relaxation, with a focus on managing anxiety and overwhelm, building resilience, and improving confidence.

✨ Each session is tailored to participants’ individual needs, honoring different bodies, minds, and sensory preferences.

✨ We create safe, supportive, and accessible environments where every child can move, rest, and participate at their own pace.

This is a calm, inclusive space that celebrates neurodiversity and supports wellbeing through choice-based, child-led movement.

📅 Fridays from September 18th 4-5pm - Coffee Hall Community Hub
Spaces are limited. Get in touch to learn more or reserve a place. 💛

💛 A little calm can go a long way.

A few quiet minutes.
A deep breath.
A stretch.
A giggle.
A family game.
A chat.
A cuddle.
A story.

It doesn't have to be complicated.

Little moments of connection and calm can help children feel safe, settled and ready for what comes next. 🌿✨
