Thursday nights at the yurt in Muir of Ord has become such a special wee treat every week!

Gathering together, chanting, sharing Kirtan, and letting the week soften for a while. No pressure, no performance. just voices, music, connection, and a bit of stillness in the middle of everything.

Grateful for everyone who comes along and brings their energy into the space. These nights always remind us how powerful it can be to simply come together and sing from the heart.

Various members of the Kirtan Highland community were in Edinburgh on Sunday 14th June for the annual Ratha Yatra procession through the streets, starting at Holyrood and finishing up in the Meadows.

It was a joyous, vibrant occasion and the sunshine and warmth made a welcome change to the Highland cold and rain!

Kirtan Highland had a wonderful weekend at the StrathBetter festival. Thanks to them for putting on another great event, and thanks to all those who came along and chanted with us or who came to our little workshop on the Bhagavad Gita and engaged with us.

We're next chanting in the Bike Shed cafe, Inverness, this Saturday evening (16th May) from 6pm to 8pm. We'd love to see you and chant with you.
